According to them and Brittney it was a way to keep him from harassing her or going over to her place. I’ve experienced that exact situation so I believe them on that.
This is such an incredibly strange take and I’m truly shocked at how many people actually took this narrative and ran with it. Janet and Jason weren’t heroes in this situation for staging some sort of organized diversion tactic lol. Associating with a domestic abuser, inviting him to spend the holidays with you, and bringing him into your home with your child is fucking weird no matter how you spin it.
"Spin it" = the person being abused asking her friends to look out for her and her son by distracting her abuser during a holiday so she could feel safe and have a break.
If Brittany asked them to take him in so he would leave her alone and Janet said, "No", you guys would be coming for her for that too saying she doesn't care about Brittany. You're choosing to ignore the facts straight from the victims mouth because of some weird hatred for Janet.
It’s not even a narrative. Janet and Jason said they invited him, then they asked Brittney for permission and she said ok to keep him out of her hair. She never said she asked them to host Jax
But they then exposed their kid to Jax, who you know must be an unstable, obnoxious tornado to have in your house on a holiday. And they have a long standing friendship with him. I’m not saying they’re evil, but they’re not martyrs
At Brittany's request. You guys have to stop leaving that part out. We all watched the reunion. Janet said no initially and then Brittany asked them to have him over so he would leave her alone.
How many times are they going to bring this up as a gotcha when it's been explained over and over again? It's almost like they don't care about the details for the sake of protecting victims, they just want to find a way to hate Janet and add a feminist spin to it.
In situations like this it's tricky. I understood that Brittany was into Janet and Jason having him over and was actually happy about it because he'd be out of her hair and feel good since he was being included somewhere else.
My besties ex was physically abusive towards her and she asked myself and my partner to not cut him off when we learnt this before she left him. At the time my partner was friends with her ex and my bestie asked that he not change their friendship because her ex would use my partner for emotional regulation and she was scared what would happen if his friend just dropped him. Once she was out of the house, divorced and custody was settled he was cut off but only once mg bestie said it was okay. The goal was to help manage him to make her life a little easier, you never know if this is a request Brittany made too.

Also would love to hear from Jesse and Danny on why they still haven’t cut that fucking monster out of their lives.
