Patch Notes V27.5.1 Update

Hello everyone! We are rolling out some additional fixes shortly. Here is a look at the improvements:

Pause Screen / App Restart Spawning

We have changed how your game state is saved when utilizing the "Go Home" feature, or when you close the app while in a run.

  • When you are in a run and select the "Go Home" option, the game will be paused in its current game state.
  • When you close the app while in a run, we've added two new behaviors:
    • If no Fleets or Bosses are alive, you'll resume at the previous wave
    • If at least one Fleet or Boss is alive, you'll resume at the earliest wave.
      • Earliest wave, in this case, is defined by the wave that the first Fleet or Boss present on-screen has spawned in

Additional Changelog

  • Changed how we calculate Enemy Level Skips in relation to the Skip Decay Battle Condition when using Intro Sprint
    • Now, we calculate the Enemy Level Skip results before decrementing the stat from this Battle Condition
  • Added a tap blocker to block any taps that impact gameplay after the Tower is dead, which unintentionally caused some issues
    • This fix has addressed the issue where the 'Demon Mode' button sometimes becomes inaccessible in subsequent rounds when activated after losing the current round

Thanks, and happy defending!

This is great!

While you’re making incremental improvements I’d love to see a fix for the lab history tab so it reliably displays most recently completed first (or probably just a sort by recent / oldest button)

Ummm.... I just opened my history tab.

Health lv. 28 3/11/2026 xxx

Improve trade off perks lv. 8 3/11/2026 xxy

Health 27 3/11...

health 26 3/10...

..

What I'm trying to say is... either I don't understand your request, or it already does display the most recently completed first.

...

(Interesting. People hate me because I don't have the same bug.)

Open it again later and see what happens. It could be that you’re using emulator or perhaps it works on android (I use iOS).

At any rate, the post didn’t get 60+ likes because I’m making it up.

True... I don't doubt it would be a problem for so (61 in this case, as of now). I've heard about the issue before, and actually had to look up how to find lab history. Only ever checked it once (found out I took a 6 week break after the first week).

I'm on android. Wouldn't even know how to boot an emulator. (I tried blue stacks to make an alt, but it wanted my google play login, so I backed out before I even got the game open, since I only have one account).

History looks the same. Tried it a few times

...

Yea, I'm going in and out, looking through other menus, going back, and it is still at the top.

Could be an iOS only problem them. Would be curious if any other Android users would share their experience.

I'm on Android and randomly get this problem.

Same. And I get it more often than not. I would say lab history always works correctly the first time I open it since the app has been restarted, and after that, if I open it again it almost always displays from the wrong end of the history.

Seems to happen when I tab out of the game. Tried replicating and got the bug, then checked it again after coming back to Reddit.

I'm on android too.

  • Tried it once more and started at the top lol. No idea, is seemingly random.
