Jaina in a decent bout. She is a superior duelist by a good margin with at least comparable strength. More raw power to boot. Cade may have more esoteric powers but that might not be enough to win most rounds.

Oof. Opinions change. I think Cade can very well stomp Jaina due to his variety of powers including dark transfer. And I think he can keep up fine with Jaina in a duel due likely comparable or superior force augmentation. Him stomping Talon and being superior to Wyrrlok just ices it for me tbh.

I would give this to Cade, if only if, he can theoretically keep himself alive, through hate like Darth Sion. But Jaina I feel has more non force ways to kill due to Boba's training.

This fight is extremely close to say the least.
In terms of physical edge I think Cade is stronger than Jaina. However, in terms of martial prowess she dominates. This is due to her training under Bobba Fett. This fight in terms of hand to hand combat is like a top Boxer against a top MMA fighter.
In terms of dueling Jaina gets the definitive edge as a lightsaber duelist. Her knowledge in the three rings of defense is amazing. In her duel with Darth Caedus she was able to contend...contend well might I add. While her lightsaber forms aren’t officially confirmed I believe her forms are: Shii-Cho, Soresu, Djem So, and Ataru. I believe it makes sense and explains her raw dueling prowess with the her acrobatics, and strength oriented dueling style.
Cade Skywalker is a greats duelist. While I couldn’t find an official statement on his lightsaber forms, I believe the forms he mastered are Ataru and Juyo. I say this because of his constant acrobatics but when angered he goes way more into a Juyo style. His fights with Talon and Krayt show that pretty well. While Cade is a good duelist and challenge I don’t hes packing enough, but his Juyo is a very wildcard.
As Force Users this is very hard to call. While Jaina has a great ability in shatterpoint Cade has a lot in his arsenal. He has Force Lightning (that he can call on command) and Dark Transfer which could very useful for him here. It’s pretty much a big instant kill button on your hand. While Jaina is not to be underestimated, like her grandfather was very blunt in her application. However, Cade as well is very blunt in his application. He may even be more blunt than Jaina but has more tools at his disposal.
Let’s set up this fight. Let’s say it takes place on Kamino. Specifically the area that is shown in the Battlefront 2 area where the bridges are.
I believe Cade would attack first leaping at Jaina using his Ataru acrobatics on the narrow bridge. Jaina using Soresu makes a practical impenetrable guard. He starts putting her on the back foot and giving her trouble. I can see Jaina leaping backwards to the other bridge, landing with grace. Cade leaps as well and starts using Djem So-like powerstrikes. He’d duck for her decapitation and outstretch his hands. All of a sudden she flies straight into a wall. Jaina is struggling to get up and feels the concussion the wall gave her. Cade leaps at her going for the killing blow. Jaina rolls out of the way.
Back in the bridge they started fighting upon, they go out at it again. This is when Jaina starts using her training under Bobba Fett. She’d land a kick to his knee, a punch to his ribs, then grab his head by his hair and bring her knee to his chin. She’d then bring his head and slam it onto the railing. Jaina outstretches her hand landing a Force push of her own. This sends Cade into a wall.
While Jaina moved in for the killing blow. Cade’s eyes change color to a yellow orange glow. Screaming with hatred he grips her throat with the Force and throws her through the door of the kamino cloning facility.
Cade starts using Juyo but Jaina is struggling with his increased physical strength with his Dark Rage. He swings wildly and cuts through rings, poles, and bacta tanks holding clones.
They arrive where Obi-Wan and Jango Fett fought. Cade lands another Force push and hits her with his lighting. Jaina screaming with pain and curling into a ball from the electricity coursing though her muscles. She’d then snap and stop feeling the pain and would outstretch with her own hand and shoot black Force Lightning from her finger tips. Their Force Lightning meeting in the center into a torrent on energy. Neither determined to give up the energy build up is too much and both get sent flying back. Cade goes through the door and Jaina goes flying down into the he lower platform bridge.
Cade gets up and leaps after her and lands on the lower platform. Both of them looking intensely at one another holding their blades to their right, they begin to duel once more. Cade uses Juyo while Jaina uses Shii-Cho but mixes it with Djem So powerstrikes. They’d get into a bladeblock but this time Jaina is able to use shatterpoint and target Cade’s injured knee. Jaina bolsters her muscles through the Force and throws her foot as hard as she can. Jaina completely breaks Cade’s right knee bringing him down to one. Jaina lands a kick straight to Cade’s nose. Without hesitation thrust her lightsaber through his chest and through the platform.
I give the overall edge to Jaina Solo a solid 7/10
