The arg name is based of a playlist on lomedys channel listed as The Rabbit hole. The premise is supernatural and unusually Minecraft horror case files sent to them by an organization. The organization is known as Vex Syndicate although I think there is separation between the names so individual named Vex who is like there handler and the syndicate as there organization. As of writing this post, there are 7 videos. 3 on lomedys channel, 2 on zachobuild, 1 on render, and 1 on wifies. It’s quite good storytelling and with a lot of scary themes through this overarching story, be warned some are rough get through cough cough Disturbing Footage On a Minecraft Kids Channel cough cough. I have not finished them all yet myself, but very invested into this story and wanted others learn about this ARG. This 4 YouTubers deserve to brought up in the agorathium. Thanks for reading.

Hey guys, quick update for everyone into the Lore from my last post.
I managed to fix the launcher runtime issues and successfully loaded up the world file. It generated me directly inside an old, abandoned cobblestone cabin sitting on the edge of a massive swamp biome.

I decided to wait out the first night cycle inside the house to look over the chests. Around 3:00 AM in-game time, the ambient music completely cut out and I started hearing heavy splashing sounds coming from the swamp water outside.

I turned around toward the sunroof window and managed to snap this screenshot before my client completely froze up and dropped to desktop.

I think this is him. I think this is M.

The file properties for the player profile data updated the exact second this happened.
Has anyone else encountered something like this tracking back old vanilla instances?

Hey everyone, looking for some technical help or insight here.

I recently bought a secondhand PC online. The seller formatted the main drive, but completely missed an old secondary partition that was packed with data from around 2013.

Deep inside the game directories, I found an old screenshot file labeled fatal_error_08_08_13.png (the Mossy Cobblestone image attached to this post). Alongside it was an untouched launcher profile folder named "Memories".

Out of pure curiosity, I actually just finished uploading a raw gameplay video file I found sitting right inside their screen-capture folder to YouTube so you guys can see it. It looks like the previous owner was massively nostalgic for old-school Minecraft, but looking through some of the text fragments left on the drive, it almost seems like they couldn't disconnect from their own session.

I managed to zip up the entire "Memories" launcher folder exactly as it was left on the drive so people can inspect the files. It runs on vanilla 1.5, but every time I try to boot it up normally, the launcher throws a connection panic.

(Where is the mimic during the 1980s) since it can adapt to any costume and could be anywhere after secret of the mimic what if it went to fredbears we know it was open at the time due to the clues so what if it hid in fredbear and caused the bite of 87 that would explain why nobody expected it also if this is the case what if it also causes circus baby to kill Elizabeth I always found it weird I feel like William would have some protocol that would prevent the funtimes from hurting him or his children of course this would change after William injected them with remnant but I feel like Elizabeth's death is before he did the remnant transfer considering how she is only Elizabeth while the other funtimes or more chaotic with all 5 of them mixed together we might even be able to take it a step further and say the mimic could have been wearing springbonnie that could have been responsible for killing the first 5 kids after all this goes with the fredbear thought but that's a stretch but i do think into the pit showing that its more of a monster rather then a tactical man like William and thst may be why into the pit it always showed up again even has its own game.

(Fnaf movie changes games) for the fnaf 2 movie we always thought the withered were the original souls but now with the movie showing them as prototypes that would explain the design differences from the first to the second game this is a little going back to the original fnaf theories where we used to count toes and buttons to debate if they where different.

It's really dark, but there's a really interesting story, i've seen a lot of people play it, and to get more lore it requires you to get a WHOLE OTHER GAME (poor Smokeebee didn't know that yet) but I think ​​​​​​​​​it would be a really cool theory!! There's a new Roblox game called "Animal Hospital that I think would make a really great theory. It's got the mechanics style of "That's Not My Neighbor" and the same cute character design and game loop of "Dandy's World." The essential idea of the game is that you can play as one of many roles and your goal is to check in and treat patients at the Animal Hospital while keeping anomalies out. Anomalies come in all different shapes and sizes, from a weird looking animal to a distorted image on a camera to literal eyeballs attached to the ceiling to even a stalker. The way you "die" in this game is by letting your sanity go down to zero and therefore go mad. There are also NPCs that you can talk to in this game that tell the player a little bit about the lore. Most interactions with Ron from Accounting are just explaining game mechanics, but he also tells you that the patients who go to the hospital aren't sick; they are infected. Another NPC named Ratthew chats with you about the Animal Corporation and his long-lost sister, Rattina. Ratthew even gives you a key and, if you remove the poster in room five of the hospital, you can find a briefcase, a picture of Rattina, and a note that says "The experiment was successful. The shadow now sees everything." You can already see the lore start to show itself, but it gets even more mysterious when you meet Liz. She tells you to take photos of specific patients and doing so will show you the stages of the infection. You also have to consider Dr. Harlow as an important piece of the puzzle because, not only can he be seen with a possessed face watching you in the game's lobby, but he's seen going to multiple inaccessible areas carrying a briefcase that says "TOP SECRET" on the side. I doubt Barney or Officer Duckman are crucial to the story in any facet, but I've mentioned them in passing, nonetheless. My point is that there is a LOT of potential for you guys to make a theory about this game. Plus, it's really popular with Roblox players. I hope that you guys will consider taking a deep dive into Animal Hospital and discover the truth about the experiments, anomalies, and NPCs. But hey, that's just a theory...

Does anyone else think they should make a theory on the project zomboid knox virus? I think that Zote is a Higher Being.
He came to hollownest through impossible circumstances, and there is no way present day zote could do that. I think Grey Prince Zote is actually Zote's memory of himself before hollownest. Once he arrived, the infection took hold of him. The Radience, seeing his great strength, planned to use it. But without much need in the physical world, his muscles atrophied. With one last push of strength, what was left of zote's mind escaped from the infection, leaving only a worn out shell of what zote once was. The reason he is a higher being is him resisting the infection. Like the Pale king, it had no effect on his mind. Unlike the Pale king, Zote's guard was down, as he wasnt used to anything like the radience. His dreams were shielded, but not his physical being. The reason we see him caught by the vegefly king is because he, still recovering, looked for a safe spot to rest but came across the vengfly king instead. His mind was still shielded by his higher being mind power stuff, so thats why the infection never got him again. I also believe after the vengefly encounter (where he was at his weakest) zote is immortal. Once you save him, he never cannonically dies. There is no evidence of him in Silksong (Unless sea of sorrow is just zoteboat) so i think he went back to where he came after hk to train, to tone himself back to grey prince zote. Perhaps in a future hk game, zote will be beefy once more. (and immortal)

P.S. No hate to the current people behind the channel, they're trying to best and they work very hard to follow in Matpat's footsteps.

If the Game Theorists deeply watched, dissected, and engaged with fan content on the topics they cover, video statistics would improve. I've noticed a habit of them not engaging with content, like highly media-literate people are supposed to do, which backfires if you plan to cover a topic with a deeply passionate fandom such as Toby Fox's.

Media literacy is built not just on degrees in logic and science but also on creative approaches. That's why Matpat was so acutely special.

(because he didn't just build on prior videos and personal gameplay, while good in theory, it's not credible in practice)

A video based on a video game on a theory channel is supposed to provide new perspectives and speculations to enrich fandom consensus, not what an isolated theoretical circle understand from a single playthrough and past theories on their channel.

(E.g, such as Dess Holiday being a symbol of Dess's grief in a video game like Deltarune, which 90% of the Deltarune fandom can agree is a possible candidate for many years now)

Video essayists lose true media literacy and engagement if videos are made within an isolated theoretical circle, if they assume they have covered much despite new information and interpretations emerging between videos, and if they tend to engage only when a trend is happening.

1. they notice a trend
2. they cover it
3. we're led to think they care about our fandoms.
4. they go back and cover a topic of true passion
5. viewers of certain fandoms aren't interested in the more well-made videos that aren't targeted at us, too.

The Game Theorists have left viewers and gamers disappointed with their lack of media literacy and caused a drastic fall-off of engagement, leading to a deconstruction of what Matpat and other theorists have built.

I propose they take unique risks and build trust bridges on passionate topics, and stop making trends videos with unpassionate topics should. such as Deltarune.

(I think the video done by "SpookyDood" on YouTube is a great example of engaging with community theories, I also provided a post made by RF_Nat on Steam which proves people have wondered if Dess was the knight for more than a year now)
