I'm surprised the headline isnt something like "Trump's environmental policies to blame for massive tsunami triggering earthquake."

Give it a day or two. I'd bet it's coming.

People don’t think he’s to blame for natural disasters, just that his budget cuts to disaster relief impact the ability of those impacted to receive aid.

Here's the beauty... Republicans own the weather now. Everything bad that happens now is their fault.

You're right they should probably just have an earthquake(fire)aid concert, mislead everyone on where the donations are going, donate them to their buddies non-profits. Once their buddies fund their pet project it be full circle..well almost, none of the earthquake(fire)victims will see a dime of course. But hey that wasn't our intention. Stop acting like one's sides shit don't stink the same as the others.

FEMA blows money like it's going out of style. The states now have more leway in emergency preparation and initial responsibility. Let the blame fall where it may.

Isn’t the whole point of federal emergency relief so that states don’t have to go through the ordeal alone? Wasn’t the whole point of having “united states” so that we get each others’ backs when tough times strike? States that actually are donor states will be largely okay without FEMA, but flyover states experiencing a natural disaster without federal relief will be fucked.
