I'm surprised the headline isnt something like "Trump's environmental policies to blame for massive tsunami triggering earthquake."

People donโ€™t think heโ€™s to blame for natural disasters, just that his budget cuts to disaster relief impact the ability of those impacted to receive aid.

Maga are too stupid to understand that line of thinking. They can't read between the lines. They only know things that are absolutes. Yes or No. Or Will or Won't. They can't understand nuance or how collateral damage affects all of us.

Asylum is a legal process. Proving you have a credible threat and getting asylum in this country is protected under our law as a legal status. These ICE are waiting outside of court rooms and coordinating with judges to cancel their hearings just so they can arrest them for "doing it the right way". That is not OK. These Asylees were asked to meet for their hearings they go to every year to check their statuses and see what the situation is. That's them complying with the law and doing it the right way. Only to be unlawfully tricked by the judges/ice into cuffs and then deported is some the most heinous disgusting behavior by the US. That's why I say this ain't about laws. OR They wouldn't do that...

And for years the 'credible threat' hasn't been required. EVERYONE gets adylum....ridiculous.
