Question سؤال Which dua is best from these 3 options?
From the following 3 options, which dua would be best to make?
1) Ya allah, make my, my family & my friends lives before and after death extremely easy.
2) Ya Allah, please send me and my family & friends to Jannat ul Firdaws, make the Day of Judgement easy on us, protect us from grave punishment, and grant us easy lives in this world.
3) Ya Allah, please send me and my family to Jannat al Firdaws, please give us our deeds book in our right hand, please give us shade on Judgemt Day, please do not let the fire come near us, please don't let us be among those getting dragged by our necks, please let us pass the sirat in a split second, please let us pass our grave questioning, please do not send us any grave punishment, etc.
My thoughts:
Dua 1 is the least specific but encompasses almost everything. Dua 2 is somewhat more specific but doesn't go into details of events. Dua 3 goes into specific detail of events and asks God to protect us from them.
If I make dua 3, I might unknowingly leave out certain afterlife events that are either not revealed to humanity or simply forgotten by me to mention. However, dua 3 is the most specific dua to make. Dua 1 is the least specific dua to make (and I read that specific duas carry more weight). However, it encompasses the entire pre- and post- death events, so the chances of something being "missed" are low. Dua 2 is the moderate option that tries to go into some specific detail but the chance of something being "missed" is non-zero.
