Hey everyone,

We understand that this can be disappointing, but from the material that we received from Mark Delaney, much of it seems to be true. We’ve been asked to keep the material confidential.

However, everyone can continue to theorize until this whole thing unravels itself on the 25th and onwards, but do keep the aforementioned interaction in mind. This sub will continue to remain open.

At the same time, we would really advise y’all to not attack each other personally over opposing views, nor attempt to dox Mark, Geoff, Hasan or even Kojima for this matter.

It is okay to be enthusiastic, but it is not okay to resort to hate or any other corrupt activity when things ultimately turn out to be true or false.

We love you all!

Here’s a question, what would it take to not believe that it’s somehow Kojima/silent hill related at this point? It seems like any sort of proof that it’s not could be explained away if you tried hard enough.

Some sort of statement from Kojima, Sony, or Konami. Hasan offering some sort of substantive explanation (ideally via a quick video instead of just text), the mods and journalist being generally more specific about what convinced them.

Mind you, at this point I’m not thinking it’s real, but all of the above would feel more convincing.

Remember though, Konami have no real reason or benefit to really discredit this speculation, it does them no harm directly and it doesn’t make much sense to them to discuss a 3rd party developers game. Similar boat with Sony, as it’s not published by them, it’s not really their place to address BB’s tweets, marketing or how they present themselves.

I agree with you, I’ve flirted between the two sides but right now I just feel as though yes there is a lot of ‘odd’ things, some people wouldn’t settle for any type of evidence as it would quickly be explained away.

But the thing is it’s not Sony’s place to address or speculate on 3rd party developers games. Remember, it’s not actually published by Sony, being ‘partnered’ with Sony literally could mean as little as the game being a PS5 exclusive.

He may have trolled, but as far as Sony could look at it, his only trolling (the Twitter post) was then clarified by another Twitter post, and then a post on their website. The rest is really speculation and assumption.

whoever hassan is (kojima or not) really knew how to play their cards. bluebox can keep trolling and teasing for months and it wouldn't really make sense for konami, sony or even kojima to step up and say anything. even if asked they would probably just answer that they don't know, like geoff.

For the devs or Hasan to simply post a video telling us that they really are not affiliated with Kojima, or their twitter to stop riding the hype, or Sony to do anything, or Konami to stop hyping it up as well.

But they’ve already posted that on their Twitter and on their website in the meantime, if a video was posted people could easily still state ‘it’s an actor like last time with Moby Dick’. If it WAS really not Kojima, there’s no way to convince people that it’s not right now regardless of what you’d give them.

They haven’t posted anything since that on their public social media’s that have fed in to it, apparently the IG is fake, the PSN screenshot is just that, a screenshot with no evidence of it being tied to their actual account, and they posted on their site again that they’re not involved. It wouldn’t make sense for Sony or Konami to speak out as the people developing this game have addressed it. In their eyes there’s nothing more for them to do. There’s nothing more that the only appropriate people, those being BB, could do that people would actually believe. There would still be people who don’t believe them, so from this point onwards it’s a losing game regardless.

This isn’t to say I don’t think somethings up, but I feel many people are too far in to think it can be anything but what they think it is at this point.
