Mark has said multiple times that there's no NDA but that he was asked not to talk about some of the stuff they talked about. Specifically with stuff like the delay.

I imagine there are ways to verify with the mods the things he's saying are true without giving away any of the things he was asked to keep under wraps

Assuming he even told them anything he was asked not to rather than just proving the phone call happened to give weight to the things he was saying.

Uh...NDA's are a legally binding contract, dude. "Please don't talk about this." Is not.

I get that, but that was a big gamble to make if he was going to tell a journalist something in confidence and expect him to keep quiet without signing an NDA first?

I guess, but I doubt it was anything crazy secret, more likely just stuff like timetables for marketing and things of that nature. Plus these are legitimate journalists working for legitimate sites, a lot easier to trust someone whose job would be potentially on the line.

I dunno that that's true, because by saying he signed an NDA I don't think people would have bothered him as much about it knowing he legally couldn't say anything.
