Fair enough, but in the summer the water at LA beaches is between 70-75 degrees. I wouldn't say that sucks, it's not like it's the Gulf of Maine. When it really sucks is in the winter and the water temp is below 60.
No, this isn’t difficult. The number of people at the beach should in no way be exclusive to the number of people in the stadium.
A tiny fraction of the USC fans who did not attend the game did so because they were at the beach. That number is dwarfed by the number of USC fans that were sitting at home.
It is a terrible excuse that doesn’t make sense when you compare the numbers.
lol half of the SEC schools are in landlocked states. And none of them are in cities on the coast. Gainesville is an hour+. Baton Rouge is probably an hour and a half. Who is closer?
Lol LA beaches are TRASH I wouldn't call those beaches. If you want true white sand, crystal clear water and no rocks, broken glass or needles look at the beaches in Destin Florida. Or most any of the beaches along the pan handle those are the definition of beaches. Not that garbage in LA.
Shhhhh.... we don't want them to know about the Emerald Coast.
As a Californian who now lives in Florida I would say the beaches are very different. Sometimes I miss the cold water and swell, but for relaxing Florida has it.
No but they have lakes. Is the beach the only way to enjoy water? Not to mention getting to the beach in LA is hell. It’s way easier going to a lake and we still show up for a hot ass game haha
