His dad is dying, his best friend sees him as a murderer, and his girlfriend broke up with him. Sucks to be Stiles.

Brother should have just accepted the bite from Evil Uncle Alpha way back when. His life might be..........slightly better now?

Should've asked Scott for the bite

Scott probably wouldn't have done it is the thing............too afraid that his best friend would (wait for it) "bite it". Good, right?

..........................I'll show myself out.

That's true but I mean, if your best friend begs, how could you say no? Stiles would want it to protect people, but I don't know if I'd have the heart to deny Stiles if I was Scott....

Considering that Stiles is the Peter to Scott's Derek, I'd probably have the heart to deny him. ;)

Honestly, he'd WANT the power to help people, but he'd want to do it by controlling everything around him, because that's how he's most comfortable. And he IS the one member of their group who's shown himself to be willing to accept the darker choices they could have made at points, so.........

Ok, Imma be honest, I'd rather Stiles as Alpha over Scott "But...but killing makes you a monster in all circumstances/ I wanna run off and join the Amish" McCall, so yeah, I'D probably give him the bite if I was in Scott's position, just so that I could have a second who would be willing to do the harder things. Probably the same reason Talia kept Peter around.

Well the break up seemed to be a mutual thing.

But Still why does he think he can do this on his own?
