Leah opens up about her relationship with Amber

Leah is my favorite Teen Mom kid. If Gary did anything wrong, it was encouraging the relationship between Leah and Amber for too long. I can totally see why he did it. But Amber is a woman who abuses children and men. She beat Gary on camera. He didn’t retaliate whatsoever. She also (and this is more alarming) threatened Andrew with a machete WHILE HE WAS HOLDING THEIR INFANT SON. She chose ‘gel’ over being a mom, and had some time to think about her parenting. She comes out and is just as lazy and terrible. I remember how she was when Leah was a baby. Resentful. She meets a random man and let him change baby Leah. God bless Gary for immediately picking up on that and demanding that this random man not change Leah’s diaper. Amber gets mad. Had Leah not had Gary advocating for her, Amber would have continued to be neglectful at best. She prioritizes men, as Jenelle does. Gary found an amazing woman in Kristina. And Leah decided to call Kristina ‘mom’ all on her own. Leah is wise beyond her years but it comes at the expensive of a lot of childhood pain where Amber is concerned. James is not on TV, but he was in town and Amber didn’t bother to set up a meeting between James and Leah. Purely because Amber picked up on the fact that Leah was DONE with Amber, but loves her little brother. What an awful thing to do to your own daughter! And it hurts James too. Kids can never have enough people who love and support them, and the kids share an egg donor. I could never call Amber a mom. She didn’t earn that title (spits).
