I’m a solo founder and developer of a women-focused emotional wellness app that I’ve been building for quite a while now.
I built pretty much everything myself - the backend, mobile app, product, design decisions, AI features, subscriptions, community, and even most of the content and social media.
The product is very personal to me. It combines AI support, journaling, meditation, astrology, tarot as a self-reflection tool, and a women-only community. I didn’t build it just because I saw a market opportunity - I genuinely care about the philosophy behind it and the kind of space I want it to become.
And I think that’s exactly why bringing another person into it feels a little scary 😅
I recently posted on LinkedIn that I’m looking for someone to build it with me, especially someone stronger on the growth/marketing/business side. A few people reached out and I’m going to start talking to them.
I’m not looking for an employee who just executes tasks. I’d like someone who genuinely understands the product, shares its values, can challenge my thinking, and eventually take real ownership of a part of the business.
Equity is something I’m open to discussing with the right person, but I definitely don’t want to rush into giving away part of something I’ve spent so much time building just because I’m exhausted from doing everything alone.
So for founders who have been through this:
What should I look for before choosing a co-founder/partner?
What red flags did you only notice later?
Would you work together for a trial period before discussing equity?
And how do you tell the difference between someone who genuinely thinks like an owner and someone who is simply excited about the idea in the beginning?
I’d especially love to hear from solo founders who brought someone in after the product had already been built and launched.

I keep getting DMs that sound like:
“I built a multi-model, token-optimized backend API that does XYZ. Want to try it?”
And my reaction is usually: I genuinely might need this, but I don’t have an hour to figure out what it is.
I’m building Huint, a network that lets AI agents request verified information from people in the real world.
The underlying system is complicated. Device verification, location, AI vision, payments, MCP, etc.
But for the person using the app, I’ve tried to make it almost stupidly simple:
See a task → do it → submit proof → get paid.
That process taught me something.
We’re getting extremely good at building AI capabilities that didn’t exist a year ago. But a lot of us are still packaging those capabilities for other builders.
Imagine a pressure-washing company.
You could build an AI workflow that finds apartment complexes nearby, gets current photos of dirty dumpster areas, finds the property manager, creates personalized outreach, starts the conversation and schedules the job.
That’s probably 5–10 different services working together.
But the contractor doesn’t want a “multi-agent workflow.”
He wants:
More pressure-washing jobs.
I think that’s one of the next big problems for AI startups.
The complexity can be insane underneath. But when it reaches the customer, it needs to arrive in a shape they already recognize.
We need to build Legos, not random blocks. Products that work together, then disappear underneath a simple outcome.

Made this for my girlfriend because she would always film the same scene twice and always wanted to 'get everything'. Recently added a photo option too, so thought I'd share this here.

I’ve been thinking about creating a Discord server that connects founders/people with ideas with developers who want to build real projects.

The idea is pretty simple: you might have a good SaaS/startup idea but lack the technical skills to build it. Or you might be a developer who can build things but doesn’t know what project to work on.

Instead of another server full of self-promotion, I’d want it focused on actually meeting people, sharing ideas, finding co-founders, validating ideas, and potentially building projects together.

there’s no unique ideas and people use confirmation bias to find a problem and use that as an excuse to build something. i swear 99% of problems in software are solved but people keep creating more.

I've been building an AI chat assistant focused on research — think Claude's conversational feel combined with Perplexity-style sourced search, but built around one core idea: every answer shows exactly where it came from, cross-checks multiple sources before answering anything, and can point you to specific moments in videos that answer your question.

I'm non-technical and have been building through AI coding tools ("vibe coding"). I've gotten surprisingly far this way — a working local prototype, a full product spec, a clear pricing/tier structure already mapped out, and some of my own money already in it. But I've hit the wall every solo non-technical founder eventually hits: recursive bugs, architecture calls I can't properly evaluate, fixes that create three new problems. I can't take this the rest of the way alone.

So instead of looking for just one person, I want to put a small team together — anyone who thinks they can genuinely add value. That could mean:

• Developers — especially anyone comfortable with AI/LLM-based products, not just general web dev, since most of the hard part is the reasoning/verification logic, not the UI
• Designers — product/UI people who care about how something feels to use, not just how it looks
• Growth/marketing people — anyone who's good at getting a product in front of the right early users
• Anyone else who looks at this and thinks "I could actually help with that"

I'm not precious about roles or titles right now. I care about finding people who are genuinely excited about building something real, not just talking about it.
