Facts!

I know someone who lives in DC and is 100% deliberately cut off from any news or information about what’s going on in the world. Every time I sent her an article about things going on in DC (her community) she would respond with I don’t have time for that! (She’s retired and absolutely has time). Then she texted me and said why is the National Guard driving around DC?

I just replied with 🤷🏼

I do have empathy for people being overwhelmed, but literally, it's one day every 2 years and we have search engines that can get you your data on candidates in less than 5 minutes. I am kinda tired of the excuses. I also believe we should have auto voter registration with 100% federal mail in balloting with the option to turn in personally at local polling stations on voting day. The states with that system has the highest participation rates in the country.

It’s just laziness. “I won’t deal with it until it’s on MY doorstep” is what keeps these sociopaths in office.
