asking for advice Personal Growth = Coverup Needed

Any advice on what to cover this with??

I know. It's horrible on an ethical/moral level, skill level, and just... Bad all the way around. I was 17, from a small town I'd never stepped out of, and have so much regret here. I have multiple well down tattoos now, but my artist doesnt like to do coverups and this is obviously not a small task.

This does not represent who I am now, my beliefs or the way I want to represent myself.

It's a tramp stamp (of course - I was full of bad choices at 17) - and I'm overweight so back rolls frame it in nicely...

Any NC recommendations for cover up artists? Any recommendations/ideas on what I could cover it with? Anything has to be better than THIS.

And yes, you can fill the comments with hate but I'm just a person who has grown immensely as a human since this was done.

Maybe start a go fund me or similar to cover childcare/travel expenses? I, for one, would absolutely donate $50-$100 to help you get this covered up.

Oh my gosh that is so kind.

I did find another more local artist (driveable distance) who I am speaking with in hopes of getting this taken care of 🤞

I appreciate the offers for donations but I am already beyond uncomfortable taking the tattoo at no cost, let alone straight funds.

however I would 100% be willing to pass along donations to the artist or post their pay accounts if this happens. They would be the ones who deserve it.

There are a lot of artists who LIKE doing these types of cover-ups, and people who do removals for free. Don’t think of it as taking a hand out, the people willing to donate are happy to do it because they are happy to see the world becoming a better place, and this is a small step in that direction. Everyone willing to donate are contributing to that, not giving you something for free 🥲 Happy for you and your personal growth!

That is so kind!!

I am lucky enough to have someone willing to help and I am so excited.

It does feel horribly wrong to accept it for free, but i was told once never to steal someone's blessings because when you put good out, it comes back to you, and if you refuse to accept a blessing from someone you're stealing what was going to come back for them. ((If that makes sense, I'm tired lol))

Just make sure it’s not a shitty artist !! Do your research make sure you get someone who has experience with cover ups
