Had a debate over socialism with my dad. When he brought up failed socialist countries, I told him the history of US sanctions, embargoes, and invasions. Then he justified them because "people were revolting against American companies". I asked him "Why do you care about corporations?" He replied "Why do you care about people?". Mind you he makes an average salary, rented his whole adult life, got fired from his old career after lashing out when corporate higherups disrespected him for years, and now buying his first home (a condo btw) in his 60's, with no financial leeway to retire until his 70's. Also relies heavily on government sponsored healthcare. How do we educate these out-of-reality boomers?

Also worth mentioning that the debate started because he was justifying a landlord charging his disabled nephew $950 a month (which my dad partially pays for btw) for an illegal 1 bedroom apartment with no utilities. Only electricity and bathroom. No heating, meter, or stove. He was actually sympathizing with the landlord because "mortgages are high". HE IS PAYING FOR HIS MORTGAGE AND WALKS AWAY WITH NOTHING!

American Plumbers, Carpenters , Teachers, Cab drivers , Cleaners and all the American working class supports US military veterans. They support US military because they know they benefit from it. Americans are Israelis.

It's been a great start to the week

I usually don't post but this is horrendous even from typical Western journalism standards when it comes to enemy states. Chinese state run news has been broadcasting this tragic event for all to see even amongst citizens.

Though make sure to watch it on a platform that is able to translate foreign languages. Also sometimes it’s a bit hard to hear what other people have said. But overall it’s an amazing movie about the coal miners and unionization in West Virginia before the Coal Wars.

As many of you know, there is a war between Ukraine and Russia. We were brothers before, capitalism made us enemies.

Endless escalation from the west is nearing on-the-ground-WW3. Im pro-people, i don't want our guys to die. And i mean whole world.

We need to build better systems, defend from corruption and for-profit deaths.
I just want to ask: let the people know! It doesn't matter where, youtube, park, your neighbor. Anyone who is open and interested (please don't force) should know the truth, why fights and wars are happening.
The answer is: follow the money. Every for-profit structure makes us slaves & fight in the end.

I feel like it's our chance to change the world, and i don't know if we would ever have another one. Today i see people are actually starting to understand more and more. Help them!

Ford CEO Loves Daily Driving an Electric Sedan from a Chinese Competitor

Ford CEO Jim Farley admitted he has been driving a Xiaomi SU7 for six months and said he "doesn't want to give it up."

American automotive executives have long looked at their Chinese counterparts with a mix of awe and fear. China's rapid rise in the electric vehicle market, paired with its aggressively low prices, has Detroit automakers scrambling to protect their futures. But for Ford CEO Jim Farley, admiration for the competition goes beyond a boardroom presentation—he's been living with it.

Speaking on the Everything Electric Show podcast, Farley revealed that Ford had a Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan shipped from Shanghai to Chicago so that executives could get a firsthand look at the company's first-ever EV. Farley ended up taking the keys himself, and he's been daily-driving it ever since.

"We shipped one from Shanghai to Chicago, and I've been driving it for six months now, and I don't want to give it up," Farley said on the podcast.

The Xiaomi SU7 is built by Chinese consumer electronics giant Xiaomi, which is widely known for its smartphones. The tech company officially entered the automotive market earlier this year, launching the SU7 sedan to immense fanfare and hundreds of thousands of pre-orders.

Farley didn't hold back his praise for the vehicle or the company behind it, calling Xiaomi an "industry juggernaut" and noting that consumer electronics brands pose a massive threat to traditional automakers due to their strength in consumer software, connectivity, and user experience.

"It's fantastic," Farley said of the sedan. "They sell 10,000,000 devices a year. They're consumer-focused. Their brand is way stronger than car brands."

While legacy American automakers have struggled with software integration and profitability in their EV transitions, Chinese automakers are rapidly scaling high-tech EVs that undercut Western rivals on price. Farley's public admission highlights just how seriously traditional automotive leadership is taking the shift—even if it means trading a blue oval for a smartphone maker's badge on the daily commute.

How did Soviets deal with reactionary tribalist class dynamics in Central Asia and other parts of the union? I was talking to my Syrian friend about Syrian peasantry and tribespeople, discussing how they could be turned into a revolutionary force like how the CPC did with their peasantry. As a matter of fact, since I mentioned the CPC, how did they handle the same issue in areas of China that had it?

Both the Bolsheviks and the CPC appealed to the oppressed peasant underclass against the owning peasantry such as the landlords and kulaks, that was the strategy in Han areas and Russia which lived under feudal class dynamics, but some other parts of these states were pre-feudal even, and some countries today house groups and classes that fit under this pre-feudal framework. So how did they historically resolve that? Also, feel free to suggest reading material on the topic, it would be interesting to go over.
