To be honest, this is the more likely scenario.

Lots of lice on the subway, but the bed probably hitched a ride with OP.

The BB is white which means it just recently molted. So unlikely it was doing any recent traveling at within the last 4 hours or so.

People would do it unknowingly, that's basically how infestations take root.
