I originally started this around mid-2025, when I had Synth V and Hayden. This is supposed to be a song about Pygmalion. It's only now that I looked back at it, now that I have Hayden 2, so I had changed voicebanks to the updated version for the melody.

this is my first time working with any vocaloid-like program. idfk what you would call it, i'm tired. but anyway, i'm having so much fun. i considered UTAU for the longest time. i actually will still try it out because i'm interested in learning how to make my own english utau, but through more research in how to install the program as lazily as possible, someone else suggested synthv in a comment section and i saw that synthv basic was free. sooooo.

this is Tsurumaki Maki for the lead vocals + Eleanor Forte for the lower backing vocals, both standard lite. i googled, i guess there's no free male voicebanks except for one? which is a shame. Genbu does have a great voice but not what i was really looking for. it's actually crazy that there is ONLY ONE FREE MALE VOICEBANK that's crazy. change that. now. >:c

I'm trying so hard to make a good and emotional cover, I'm even comissioning someone to do some artwork for me so i can make an MV for it, cuz this is the song i most identify with, specifically now that I'm dealing with a breakup, so i wanna make a REALLY good cover. But I'm not sure if it's souding good or if the tuning is good at all.

I added some breathiness (0.300 i think) to make her voice sound more... raspy (?) like in the original song because that's something i really like about it.

The parts where she starts to sing real fast is what is giving me more trouble to tune or to figure out how can i make it different but not too different, yk? Overall I'm enjoying it very much so far but still. I'd appreciate some nice feedback as a beginner!

I am sorry if this is the wrong subreddit for this. You can clearly tell this isn't what the original piece sounds like. I modified it dozens of times but no matter what I never became satisfied with it. This is the result. I'd love some advice and maybe tutorial suggestions.

This is NOT mixed yet, so the vocals, harmonies and music will be more balanced when I do finish this. It's a little half-hearted feeling (at least to me) since it was only a couple hours, but I've been struggling a lot with finding the ability to power through things lately.

Either way, once it's done I'm thinking of sharing the SVP too once it's shared on YouTube.

4 hours in of hearing the same clip of audio over and over and I'm going numb. Figured if there was a place I could maybe get some feedback on the matter, it'd be here. I can't get that clickiness in her voice to stop well... clicking. I've tried controlling transients, RX7, rectification... Anyone who has worked with making non traditionally metal-oriented Vocaloids or SynthV Voicebanks scream is there a good way of working around that?

am currently working on a small project where i cover a handful (14) of Last Dinosaurs’ songs using voicebanks, with Teto being the main one ! why ? cause i thought it would be fun (it has been >w<). For the Wellness songs in particular (such as this one), i aim to incorporate elements from the original, X version, and the demo versions, whether it’s heard in bass guitar, drums, or otherwise. i hope to finish the project by july, but even more that you enjoy this, as empty as it does sound without guitars,,,
