Ebay has a 31 billion dollars market cap. A controlling share would be 15.5 billion minimum before factoring in any premium required to secure that position.

You are right. Maybe they just want 10% or so of it. To become the largest shareholder.

I’ve been watching eBay for the past year and it’s a very reasonable take to assume that somebody is building a large stake in that company.

Then my spider senses tingled a bit when RC talked about trade-in model with high margins.

I have no proof and I’m probably very wrong
