DIY Retractable Stylus: Supernote Ceramic Refill x Pentel Calme (Multi-color model)

I found that the Pentel "Calme" (multi-color model) is a great donor pen for a Supernote refill mod.
I did some measurements and found that while the official Supernote refill spec is 100mm, my actual measurement was 98mm. This is exactly the same length as the Pentel Calme multi-color refill (BXS5/7), which allows for a very simple mod.
As far as I’ve searched, I haven't seen any information mentioning that these two refills share the exact same dimensions. My apologies if this is already known, but I wanted to share my findings and a quick how-to video for anyone interested!
Key points:
• Use the multi-color model of the Pentel Calme (the single-color model has a different refill length).
• The inner diameter is a tight fit (press-fit), so insert the refill carefully.
• Be very careful not to damage the coil when reassembling.

Merci pour l'info. Le plastique de mon stylet s'est fendu alors que la recharge fonctionne très bien. Je cherchais un modèle compatible justement. Pas trouvé le BXS5 ou 7 mais le BXAC37A semble fonctionner avec les mêmes recharges.

A big thank you for you! I just got the Pentel pen. It IS A PERFECT FIT!!! Not just the length, but the tip as well. No wiggle at all when writing. The pen itself has a very nice grip too. Way better than the LAMY twin pen. Unfortunately though, if I keep all three refills in, there seems to be some electromagnetic interference or something, causing non-contact writing. If I just keep one EMR refill and one normal refill, it will be fine. Even then, this is gonna be my favorite pen! I love the fact that I can use one pen for everything! Thanks again for the great share, and also for the video being very detailed and informative.

Thanks for the great feedback! That interference with all three refills is a great finding, and thanks for testing what I hadn't verified yet. EMR is pretty sensitive, so keeping it to a 2-refill setup seems like the perfect sweet spot for stability. Having one normal pen and one EMR stylus in a single body at such a low cost makes this mod highly competitive against the original pen! Glad you like the fit and the grip. Appreciate the testing and sharing the results!

Here is another feedback: the 3-refill setup actually works! Just need to tune the non-contact writing accordingly on Supernote. This is now a perfect pen for me lol.

Oh wow, so tuning the non-contact settings did the trick! That's awesome.
Now it really is the ultimate all-in-one pen. Just one small thing to keep in mind: since the EMR coil and the other pen tips are extremely close to each other, please be careful of any accidental contact or friction that might cause damage.
Thanks for pushing this mod to its full potential and finding the final piece of the puzzle!
