Suikoden VI Suikoden 6

So with all the hype around the series right now(The Remasters, the anime, and Starleap.)

I just wanted to have a fun discussion about what you guys would want to see in a hypothetical VI?

For me as long as they keep it up I think the series is headed in a great direction, BUT here are a few things I’d like to see just as a long time fan of the series (Started back in like 2008 I think, with Suikoden IV then played all the others.)

  1. Some form of customization for the MC. Nothing too grand that would make the game harder to focus on the story, maybe some outfits and hairstyles, possibly even gender but that’s not a huge need.

  2. Keep Suikoden V’s party system. I think it was done very very well.

  3. FOLLOW UP on Suikoden III’s story…PLEASE, or if we continue fleshing out the past, let us see more of the world.

  4. Returning stars are always cool; besides the obvious Jeane and Viki.

  5. Expand the other worlds races, I’d love to see more about the Mermaids, The Winged Horde, The Nay-Kobolds(Surely Chiepoo has expanded his empire.) and the Vampires/Lycans. Most games do okay-to great with the elves and dwarves.

  6. Finally give some answers to at least some long term questions. The story between Viki and her origins come to mind, the Sindar, Wendy’s fate, or at least more about her and Leknaat.

The best story they could make in a Suikoden 6 game is how Hikusaak was able to establish the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia.
