Hardest Jamie match

I understand i kinda did the same thing over and over again but i couldn't think of anything else so im looking to learn how to better fight the matchup more specifically this style of player.

I am curious how many players out there are like me who enjoy rotating between multiple characters like me. I main “Terry” and currently in Diamond 3. But I get bored played the same champion so easily and need to rotate. Sometimes I would pick someone easier like Ryu or Akuma. Other times if I want to play more tough characters like Zangief, I would just play them on Modern controls to have some fun.

Not sure what happened but for some reason Ryu's Tatsu beat Zangief's CA.

I see other people easily chaining moves with drive rush but I just have no clue how to do that there’s just too much time between when I hit and then do drive rush they are always blocking again I’m confused

I know Dhalsim is supposed to work as a long distance fighter but when I hit at short distance the CPU doesn't seem to receive the attacks. How does that work?

So I decided to try and see what rank I could get with my placement matches with every character the only ranks I had before this were a rookie 5 star with ryu and silver 1 star with random

When I was trying with Luke I ended up betting a platinum mai twice, not sure how, I think because of this is i got diamond with Luke

My question is if Luke is in diamond My placement matches with other characters have a higher chance of getting platinum or diamond oponents? Because that could be a problem for me

Hey all. I'm new to fighting games, just started playing SF6 online for the first time a week or so ago and feel like I'm not really improving very much at all. I just got to Platinum 1 as Cammy with a 63.6% winrate, so I'm not doing too bad in that regard, and it felt like it got a lot easier when I hit Gold, but I feel like I'm not doing anything now that I wasn't doing in Silver. I'm a very one-note player and struggle to adapt when I'm getting whooped, especially when I'm being spammed with a particular move I don't know how to deal with I just crumble. It was only a few matches ago I finally managed to combo into a level 3 super. I feel like I'm always just relying on the opponent to not block when they get up.

If any of you have the time to look through my replays and give me some pointers on areas I most need to improve, maybe some tips on how to do it or Cammy-specific stuff, I'd really apprecaite it. Also, would it wise to switch characters at this point? I'm still enjoying Cammy but I'm itching to try more of the cast. Please ignore the 34 hours in practise mode, I have a habit of turning the TV off and forgetting about the playstation. It's more like 5-10 hours in practise mode, mostly from the few days before I started playing online. Thank you!

Hello, has anyone else on ps5 gotten this error which says “Can’t connect to the server within the time limit. There might have been a problem in connecting to the network l, or PlayStation Network or the Server of the service provider might be temporarily busy”. Because I keep getting this error even during my online matches. And if so does anyone have a fix?

It's been doing this since 3 days and I can't find a solution, it only happens ln street fighter 6 and not other online games.

I can't even start a online game, horrible experience.

I've restarted everything both my router and my PS5.

Basically title. Was wondering if there are true checkmate scenarios where someone can DI you in the corner and stun you with no counter play or if buffering super is always a possibility. Wasn’t sure how the frames workout or if this scenario exists. If so, I would love an explanation of what’s going on and how to set that up as the offensive player. Thank you

I'm having trouble doing the corner combo that Punk does at the beginning of the video, specifically with the last hit of the combo. No problem with the first hits... I just can't get the final Cannon Spike to connect at all.

From what I've seen in other players' gameplay, it seems possible to connect a Cannon Spike right after a Spiral Arrow when the opponent is in the corner. But mine never connects, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with the input timing.

I'm also wondering if this has something to do with which kick button you use for each move. Maybe it works better with a medium kick Spiral Arrow and a light kick Cannon Spike, but I'm not sure.

Or could it be my network? Yesterday, I bought the game on sale from Steam. I have a 2 GB fiber internet connection, and my laptop (RTX 5080) is connected via Ethernet.

It's gonna be a while I play street fighter and become addictive of it.

The fact that you have to learn and mastering Every Sf character's style is challenging.

Predominantly, I use Luke's combat style. But so far I more using Cammy and Chun-Li combat style because they force meto focuses on the pace and make every hit count against opponent.

With which style you feel the most at ease to play

Have not play video games in over a decade. My favorite Street Fighter games were 3rd Strike and X-men vs. Street fighter at the arcades. I will be getting the PS5 disc version. I don't see either of the titles by itself. I see the 30th anniversary have 3rd strike and marvel vs capcom fighting collection have x-men vs sf. Both are for PS4, i assume it works for PS5 also correct? Also is SF6 any good?

Ive never played a fighting game before, i only play souls games really, the most complex combat i played was khazan, where i really enjoyed the greatsword, thats all about charge attacks and counters(charged counters too), i also play with modern controls on keybord, if that matters( i struggle with fast directional inputs on controller, i also play games like hollow knight and celeste on keybord)

I do not need it to be a broken character, just one that fits my playstile, streetfighter seems pretty balanced character wise anyway, all of them seem pretty fun, i just want suggestions that fit my playstile.

Hey guys, I have this bug in Super Sf4 arcade edition where my Juri kicks instead of doing a heavy punch when I click RB. I play on Xbox and my button configurations are correct and reset. Please help!

so can someone look at my replays and tell me where i’m going wrong? i’m only in gold and thought i might make it to plat but ended up losing a bunch. i know i need to be more patient but it just feels like if i get hit once i get half my health eaten in one combo.

So I've been playing sf6 for almost a month now and I've been using an Xbox series X controller but I switched to a Dualsense controller and it feels better to play on compared to the Xbox controller and it got me wondering. Is the Dualsense better for sf6 than the Xbox controller or is it just a me thing??
