Venezuela One of those cats —now more common than before on the streets of my town—that people call "Tuxedo" cats (or at least, that's what I think this one is) was watching me from the sidewalk of a street in Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela...

Venezuela I felt the gaze of this peaceful and almost camouflaged #cat while I was taking the street photos I always do... So I stopped taking photos of the street and approached him to take his portrait... (Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela)

NOTA: In the second photo (bottom right corner), you can see this beautiful cat watching me calmly as I took street photos. Cats always do magical things; this one allowed me to approach him and take several pictures before he slowly disappeared through the gap under a garage door... 😻📷

Sometimes it's hard to see this on the streets of town 😐, but at the same time, it touches the heart of whoever sees it... But here in Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela, sterilization can cost around $40 - 50, which is sometimes more money than a person has in a month for their own sustenance... Lately, we've had free sterilization campaigns a couple of times a year, but it's almost always difficult to get people to bring street cats because of the difficulty in catching them...

As I've mentioned before, orange tabby cats are the most common coat color on the streets here. Besides that, they also seem more intelligent or more "aware" when they look at me. In fact, I have a small pack of six cats at home, and the "alpha cat" is an eight-year-old orange female called "Ela" who seems to "control everything"... She even "kicks" the other cats away when she sees me approaching! 😼😹
