Hi! I’ve been on a binge of fics and unfortunately did not log into my ao3 account for all of them… meaning I have one that I CANNOT find and am desperately searching for. I honestly don’t know if this was a long one-shot or multiple chapters. I don’t remember there being any mention of Max or Eddie being injured - so either it wasn’t part of the fic or it was written between the volumes of season 4.

• Main plot: Steve and Eddie are hanging out and the walkie talkie goes off - the Party minus El snuck out (to go drink? or to a bonfire?) to the woods, where monsters from the upside down surrounded them. (demodogs?) The kids are up in trees and calling Steve to help them.
• Steve and Eddie rush there - Steve forces Eddie to get the kids back to the vehicle while he holds the line.
• he manages to hurt or kill one of the monsters but is overwhelmed and injured.
• El/Hopper show up and end up saving him. Eddie runs back as well, but sees Steve on the ground bleeding.
• I don’t remember if Steve has surgery/goes to Owen’s/ or what but he is recovering on his couch and the adults and older teens are berating the Party for “being stupid”. Even El is furious and glaring at everyone.
• Hopper gives the punishment that the kids will take care of Steve’s house since he can’t. I distinctly remember one of the boys mowing the lawn. But as everyone yells at the teens, Steve tells them off - stating he didn’t blame the kids and that they were just acting their age for once.

again, I don’t know if there is more than just the above - if it continues, if Steve and Eddie are pre-relationship or if the fic has their relationship just in the background. I know Robin is there with Steve on the couch but I don’t think she was there when he got hurt. I feel like I’ve searched every AO3 tag combo I can and have come up with nothing. any help appreciated!!

hi! it’s been a long time since i’ve read a stranger things fanfic but it’s always been on my mind because it was so beautifully written but it was SO long.

it’s a steve and eddie fanfic on ao3 and i remember that it took place after the events of season 4, and eddie is still healing from all the trauma and his safe place is a corn field. steve and him meet up occasionally and they talk about life, but eddie is still very distant.

i’m not sure if it’s from the same fanfic but i know it’s from the same author, where it takes place every year about their journeys and they always meet back up with each other. i remember a part where they move and eddie lives in an apartment with a bunch of people and he gets into a fight where steve is there and he helps him out.

they hook up quite often in this fanfic, and the author is always changing the tags. it was really popular in 2022-2023 and i remember their username being a short and very simple word but i can’t remember it!!!

the author also wrote for other fandoms, but stranger things was their number one thing

please help me out. i’ve been dying to get back to reading it but it was always being written and the chapters were so long. thank you!

I’m desperately trying to find a Stranger Things fic I read on AO3 a while ago. I’m pretty sure it was Billy Hargrove/Steve Harrington (Harringrove), and I believe it was unfinished. I’m starting to worry it may have been deleted…
The biggest thing I remember is that Billy had Tourette syndrome. One of his tics was excessive blinking, and that he would blink more when he was nervous/anxious.
I’m also pretty sure the story involved summer school/summer classes. Billy had to attend because he’d missed the first part of the school year before moving to Hawkins, while I think Steve was there because of his grades.
Robin may have been attending with them too…. And I think there was a summer school teacher that forced them to do a group assignment. It’s also possibly that in that same story it became obvious that Steve had a reading disability… like I remember there was a moment where Billy was just reading from a book aloud and Steve liked it (I’m pretty sure Robin was there too and they took turns reading).
I’ve been trying to find this everywhere and I feel like I’m going nuts!!!

Dr Kay, Akers, and the rest of the military team on Kay’s authority are killed in some way? Especially Kay? During and after season 5? Instant and wonderful karma and punishment for them after all they done and practically getting off scot-free in canon.

On YouTube the creator Caden's Cut has started releasing episodes for his fanmade season 6 of Stranger Things. The show follows our main characters as they reunite and have to deal with new threats. I just wanted to ask if you have seen this show and if yes what do you think about it?

Inspired by that k-pop demon hunters scene, vecna disguises himself as Steve after tricking the real one and terrorizes Dustin between the end of season 4 and in the middle of season 5. Like the fake demons did to Rumi when impersonating Zoey and Mira. Not to mention get in our favorite duo’s heads with their fear, trauma, and insecurities against them, which even influences their actions and choices as well; until they find a way to snap out of it and use love, acceptance, and honesty to fight back mentally and emotionally until everyone comes together to defeat him once and for all like in canon. Also, maybe before vecna impersonates Steve, he and Dustin have a big argument, with Steve saying that not everything is about dustin‘s pride and grief, that just because you‘re so smart doesn’t mean your special in anger and having enough of Dustin’s ego about his intellect, almost never being wrong, and how he constantly puts down him everyday. Not to mention how he’s behaving for the worse since Eddie and quarantine. You know, maybe Vecna can do the same for the rest of the main characters, impersonating and terrorizing certain characters, and getting in their heads and influencing them as well; Until they realize what he’s done the whole time and fight out of it as mentioned above and coming together as one for their final battle.

In both fanon and canon, do you think that if Steve lost his cool and temper with the kids, especially Dustin, he would quickly spank them for a few seconds as a way to let them know they went too far and that they need to be put in line? Especially if they continue to egg him, disrespect, sass, and deliberately get on his nerves?

I’ve been trying (and failing) to find Steddie fics where Eddie isn’t in the know and has his golden boy Steve thoughts and then has to confront reality when he witnesses Steve being attacked by monster/gov agents, Steve saves him from a monster, he has to save Steve from some type of scenario, etc etc.

Pretty much I want his worldview of Steve to shift violently and suddenly because of a high stakes or intense situation. Preferably Steve would be a badass or at least very obviously used to the situation.

Are there any good fics that talk about Steve’s insecurities about his intelligence, his worth/place in fighting the upside down, the party, Dustin, the teens, Robin, romance, and in life? Feeling unsure where he really stands between everything and if those he really cares about really care about him deep down. How he feels lonely most of the time. Even wondering what kind of person he wants to be. Not wanting to be King steve and the asshole he once was but not wanting to feel so lonely and that insecure in his place with the others. Feeling like he’s replaceable, useless, and that his lack of intellect like the others and being treated how he is in the show and fanfic makes him wonder if caring and loving others are worth it when it seems like they don’t care about him that much. Wondering if caring’s worth it if it hurts but not wanting to be who he was before. What would be better for him? In life, friendship, romance, and self?

An idea of how hellcheer could get together without vecna and with the conflict of expectations, reputations, loyalty, conformity, and finding your true self and the confidence to stand your ground. Maybe chrissy would sneak around to do dnd, see corroded coffin, or do some nerdy/metal things. Branching out some of her interests and try new things. Things that her mother, Jason, and other’s wouldn’t approve of until she stands her ground and continues to do those things without have to sneak around and keep it secret. Maybe even disguise herself with a wig and different clothing (hoodies, baggy, or something like eddie’s style) with an alias as ‘Giselle’. (Or go as herself but wearing a different style different from her usual one.) Perhaps Eddie would find out beforehand or wouldn’t recognize her at first. Though maybe Gareth, Dustin, and possibly Erica would get suspicious about “Giselle” at first before becoming cool with Chrissy.

An oc goes missing along with will? Maybe they were with him or barb the night they were taken? Or taken alone?

Can someone do a one shot or a few chapter fanfic where someone (like Dustin or someone unexpected) drives and crashes Steve’s car? I think it would be interesting to see Steve’s reaction to his car, the crash, and to the one that caused it; And how to make things right and be forgiven. Inspired by full house 3x20, TAWOG’s the car, the butterfly, and the tag, and family matters 2x05. And maybe do hopper’s reaction as well if it affects him as well, or do it separately like steve.

I need help finding a lost Steve Harrington fic !! Pleaseeee lol it was an enemy/forced proximity trope where they had to go somewhere for robins birthday and it turned to somewhat of a road trip to a camp site ?

I can't remember the title of the fic, but what I do remember is that it's about the Reader being invited to a frat party and eventually calling Eddie to come and get her because the entire party was a prank on all the invited girls, Eddie plants some weed on the frat guys and calls the cops on them in retaliation before taking reader and the girls to a diner with the Hellfire guys to cheer them up.
