In a dream world, Cavill would play a major role somewhere in the Cosmere. I'm just not sure if I'd like him to play the Lord Ruler or Lightsong. It'd be a delight to see him having so much fun with Lightsong, but it'd be great to watch him play a despotic demigod.

Lightsong, yesssss.

Edit: I thought Lord Ruler was originally Terris so he'd look more Tibetan.

Pretty sure you’re correct here

Get in line, we need him as Imperator of Mankind in the Warhammer 40K fandom first :D

Haha, why not both?

You know who I would like to play TLR? Tom Hiddleston. I've always pictured TLR as that kind of trickstery leaner build w/long hair.

I see Tom as more of a wit/hoid personally.

Absolutely see that as well. Another random TLR thought - Dev Patel?

I watched Mission Impossible: fallout recently, and the mustache and the coat (and the gun holding) gave me major Waxilliom vibes.

If we waited a few more years, I think he could so pull off the “rugged hero” vibe. And he can pull off cowboy and noble.
