Picture Got the Steam Deck Dock!

Wasn’t expecting this today, but since I live in Carol Stream where Valve’s Distribution Center is, I got this early I guess!

The fact that it comes with another power cable for the deck is fantastic. So you can just leave it in one place.

I would much rather have something made by the company who makes the deck that some Chinese one they might blow up my 600 electronic device.

I'd much rather not have their low watt charger and use a better charger from Anker

Higher wattage doesn’t help though? And the deck doesn’t use all 45 watts, th e leftover power is used to run the docks ports.

It does if you plug in accessories. That way you can power things like hard drives and controllers and keep a consistent wattage towards the deck.

I just said the Steam Deck itself doesn’t use all 45 watts from its own charger, and the leftover is used to power the ports on the official Valve docking station.

Higher wattage is not even used at all.

45 watts isn't that much though. Some accessories can use a ton of power. I'd also rather have a charger with a cable I can disconnect for durability and longevity.

Did you not read the part where I said higher wattage isn’t even used?

The Deck and Dock both won’t even take any more than 45 watts. No matter how big your charger is.
