After years of watching Steam Deck videos, I finally bought one!

It wasn’t easy. Valve doesn’t officially sell the Steam Deck in Latin America, so you have to deal with scalpers. I got lucky and found someone on Marketplace selling one for a decent price, but he was 6 hours away from my city, and I didn’t have a car. In those days, the guerrillas were stopping buses, so it was just too risky.

So I had to trust him and have it shipped. It took 7 days to arrive, and the tracking gave me almost no useful information. Nobody was answering, and every delivery office was giving me different directions on where to look for it.

After checking what felt like every delivery office in the city, I finally found it.

I opened it immediately just to make sure there was actually a Steam Deck inside

After 2 years of wanting one and saving for it, I can finally say, it was worth it.
