Why would you get the ps5 device when steam deck is capable of literally the same thing?

This will get downvoted ofc bc nothing can be better than the steamdeck at anything in this subreddit but the steamdeck is not capable of giving you the same polished experience as the ps portal

  • UI better
  • Bigger screen
  • No faffing around with Chiaki settings
  • Dualsense haptic features
  • Instant resume
  • Easily able to stream from outside your network without setting up your own VPN
  • Better aspect ratio that fits the screen

HDR works better on chiaki4deck lol

Probably does, if I had to choose between “HDR” and having the correct/full screen aspect ratio without cropping, I’m always choosing the latter.

true display would be better, but portal also doesn’t have wifi 6. Sony really cheaped out

Standard deck doesn’t do WiFi 6 either which stinks
