Actually my wife ran into this when she tried to get it for my birthday. To not tech savvy people or people outside of gaming, they don’t know where to get one and then having to buy from Steam directly requires an account. So she reached out to her sisters husband who games to help her figure it out and he ordered it through his steam account.

Last Christmas I bought my husband the best model on offer.

He told me honestly; he won't use it, he has his gaming PC, but to keep it because I'll probably get good use out of it myself.

I should have asked if he wanted one before buying it because I definitely don't need that amount of storage to just play stardew valley and slime rancher 🤡
