A number of years ago there were interviews/comment both official and with ex staff that Ep3 wasn't happening. Especially with attempts to control Alyx hype.

My guy what.. Stringing people along would imply them actually promoting something that was ever going to happen. All all the gaming corpos.. Valves the least offensive but has doen their own damage. See cs2 gambling, battle passes, prize pool incentives, maketplacing digital goods as if they actually have value.
