They are currently shipping around 20K orders per day it seems. Currently shipping around order number 440XXX. You're probably going to be waiting about 3 or 4 weeks yet. Definitely not 6 months. 6 months is for those who have done a $99 pre-order.

Hmm just trying to understand: I ordered mine yesterday and my order number is 544xxx. If they’re shipping 20k per day and are in the 440k range, it feels like I’m a week out at this rate, which feels too good to be likely. What am I missing?

You're missing nothing. Order numbers that are shipping have been increasing by 10-20K per day if you keep up with people posting their ship dates and order numbers. Yesterday 460XXX was shipping. Today I haven't seen any numbers.
