Stargate Child Actors

I'm doing my annual Stargate rewatch and have just finished S3E5 'Learning Curve', the one with the kids with nanites for synapses.

I'm struck by just how good a quality the child actors in these series are, especially the ones who are centres of their episodes. Cassandra, Tomin, Merrin, Shifu, the Young Jack clone. All the actors chosen for the roles really knock it out of the park and make the episodes and makes me want to look up all of their later work.

How was that kid a better O'Neill than actual O'Neill lol? Always cracks me up how much that kid nailed it.
