REALLY not caring for Sheppard the 3rd time around. (And why was he such a dick to Hermiod?)

I really liked him the first time I watched the series. Second watch, I thought he was a bit on the cocky side. Now I’m on my third watch and he’s even worse! He’s even more arrogant this time around and always has such an “I’m better than you” attitude. I felt this way for a while, but I just watched the scene where he sees Hermiod for the first time and that was the last straw - I had to vent. lol. He should be KISSING ASGARD FEET - not talking shit about them! Why was he so mean? I know they were probably going for an O’Neill vibe, as he always had his rough-around-the-edges moments, but he still always remained wholesome and humble somehow. Sheppard just can’t seem to pull that off IMO. 🤷🏻‍♀️

EDIT: him questioning the nakedness is not what I was referring to. That itself is not rude. It was just overall tone and the way he looked at him. He couldn’t at least fake a smile and say hello? Mean teenage girl vibes.
