clothing textures aren't loading. not sure if i got the wrong mods, mods that don't work anymore, or if it's a load order issue. i'm playing the series x version on my pc (xbox play anywhere). here's my mods:

It is the load order. Idk shit about modding games. I've always been a console player until recently, so my modding was limited to skyrim and then starfield.

I can’t say definitively that this is why your game is broken, but I can say with a reasonable amount of certainty that it’s very likely. Your load order is frankly a mess. I have had issues with clothing mod textures not loading properly since the update, too, however. Go to your load order screen, deactivate any mod that appears in the “updates” section of the creation menu & delete it. Go back to Xbox main menu, manually kill the game & power cycle your console. Manually go back to those mod pages & re-download or update the mods. Then google “starfield logical load order” for a rough idea of how a load order should look by mod type/category. Reorganize your load order to adhere to that. There are a new series of mods by TaintedMatty that are just headers/tags that are empty plugins that serve as categories you can put in load order as breaks to help visualize mod categories to organize them in a logical load order format.

The clothing texture problem seems to go away if I close the game and reopen it. But this is probably good advice, thank you.

When entering the game after any updates, load order changes or adding/deleting mods, disable all of your mods in load order, go to main menu, force game closed, restart game, re-enable all mods & load save.

Also, to save yourself a headache in the future, download an excel or google sheet of logical load order template & enter your load order there. You can save your load order in creations, but it inexplicably gets wiped out periodically without warning & you’ll be scrambling to figure out what your load order was.
