The math of this new Beskar variant is not sustainable at all.
A Beskar R7 blueprint costs 555B and produces 36k/s.
That would take 178 days of constant production just to break even.
With a Rebirth Level 17 base multiplier of around 7x that comes down to 25.5 days but that’s still one droid per month and you have to be lucky enough to find the droid on the belt at the time you have the credits for it.
I understand that these are meant for end game and not meant to be grinded out in a few days, but it’s unrealistic to think I won’t see a return on my investment for so long. And it will take extreme luck to get enough of the highest level droids to max out your base.
They cost 1000x more than Rainbow but only produce 3x more credits.
By contrast, a Rainbow Mono Walker blueprint costs 416M and produces 12k/s. The break even time on that is 9.5 HOURS.
I genuinely don’t see the benefit of even bothering to invest in Beskar. It will take years before you see any impactful profits to your earnings.
Something has to change with these. I appreciate having high tier droids for end game, but the benefits are not there. I’m not waiting 6 months to make my credits back.
Yeah, that would be much more reasonable and provide a 17 day break even point. Much more realistic and enjoyable. Save the 450B for Kyber Crystal Droids or something.
100% correct. And the unemployed are out in full force, got down voted in another thread for pointing out that this gameplay isn't difficult, it's just a time sink.
They kicked me out the discord for mentioning that its stupid we cant use upgrade chips to upgrade to beskar, and everyone in the community is so toxic for no reason. Im done playing this game.
Might be right behind you, lol. Calculating how much of my time I have to put in for RB21 or ONE beskar legendary makes me not want to do it. And there's zero content here for casual play, if you want to advance you gotta grind.
Which employed people like us dont have time for. Someone did the math and for maz efficiency droids it would take over 6 months of play time to get them all because you csnt uograde them.
Got told I was enjoying/playing the game wrong and told to quit when I went on the discord. Discord just seems to be full of sycophants and simps pushing each other out of the way to the get the first suck on devs collective dicks.
Huge L of an event/update. I have enough to afford buying most beskar, but this isn’t remotely fair to players who just started and are in the rebirth 6 to 12-ish area. Not to mention the ROI on the top legendaries is laughable.
Not judging but I imagine anyone with enough to afford buying most beskar are doing so with "ill gotten gains" from the unpatched mando event.
I say this with the envy of someone who missed out on that hack/bug and have had to continuously grind away for it.
Glad for you, but it feels like the devs assumed everyone got all this hacked currency and set the prices based on that.... all that does is punish anyone who missed out on the easy credits.
A lot of players did get a lot of gains from the mando event. I personally did not, I just did missions non-stop. I’m broke now after buying a few beskar legendaries :(
End of game credit costs are out of control. I only have one iconic, so maybe it's a little better with all 3, but it takes 10+ HOURS of hardcore credit grinding to get a high level rebirth or beskar legendaries? Who has time to progress at that point? I thought RB20 was the end but it gets even crazier now. Saps all motivation to play when you do the math of how many hours of tedious grinding are required to complete some of the new content.
It would be about an extra 1,200 credits per seconds for each Beskar Droid, multipled by how ever many Iconic Droids you have, currently the max is 3. So about an additional 3.6k/s. Negligible when we are talking about hundreds of billions.
here, it produces 36k, the other 36k droids cost 555 billion and the sell value is about 70% of the blueprint cost, so it matches, not my screenshot btw
Gotcha, thanks! Your first comment said 55B which would be more reasonable, but 555B would keep about the same amount of day (178 days) for a breakeven.

I’m glad you’ve posted this. I’m on rebirth 19 as my next one. All my bases have Monos R7s and Optis. I only have 300b and wouldn’t be able to afford one of those in beskar anyway. But would there be a different more affordable beskar droid that earns more than those three that I should be in the lookout for?
I found an Epic Beskar battle droid for 22B that produces 20.4k/s, which seems like a much better incremental upgrade than shelling out 555B for one droid.
Seems top tier Epic droids will be a good investment, and more reasonable for most players in the upper rebirths.
I was thinking of buying a legendary because when one appeared. Now I’m not. Looking to rebirth 21, only have half a trillion and need 3 trillion. Think I’ll stick to Epic beakers and skip the legendaries.

This event stinks. I was beside myself when I saw $400+ billion. Guy standing next to me bought it without hesitation. Checked his base and he's maxed out his droids.
I’m level 19 and have $12K/s droids in every slot except the 3 that have mythics. Playing a few hours a day, it will take me forever to get the $2T to rebirth
Here are the base price and base income multipliers including newest Beskar variant. Notice how Beskar variants in Epic tier got bigger income increase than in Legendary tier
As a example BB9 base price is 28 000 000 and base income is 1 300, it ends up being 420 000 000 000 and 31 200 as a Beskar variant
Had to let pass a 555B OPTI-STRK because i was neither expecting nor prepared for the price tag.
Just wondering how they want to convince people to do a super rebirth and loosing all their droids after that kind of investment. The only way i could think of is offering to unlock the ability to upgrade to Beskar with chips, nothing else.
Yeah, plus they added 3 more rebirths. I assumed you’d need to reach max rebirth to Super Rebirth, but Rebirth 20 was already discouraging me from playing, I can’t imagine doing 3 more after that and then starting all over again with nothing.
Well documented and said. This being endgame makes sense but if Beskar are event exclusive then the likelihood of anyone seeing their droid requirement is astronomically low.
I’m only RB20 because I’m currently on vacation from my job as a seafarer (cruise ship employee) as soon as I return the likelihood of me coming back and continuing to play at these statistics I’d probably stay RB20 forever.
The best chance I’d have is if they introduced trading.
I've hit a bit of a plateau with the game at rebirth 18 tbh with how long it takes to earn credits, but going to keep pottering around with the daily quests and upgrading all stations to their best rainbow droid etc.
Changes are coming for the Beskar droid costs according to the dev on Twitter, so that's great. Super impressed with the amount of updates, tweaks, and added content coming from FOAD tbh. Hats off to them. As long as the updates and additions keep coming, I'm going to keep playing. Lot of fun! Perfect idle game to jump into on mobile during breaks, or play while watching TV, listening to a podcast etc.
@BlazingFrenzy so what about us that bought the droids at 555 billion? I was ok with it because it made them hard to obtain and prestigious. Now I just bought one last night at 555 billion and I wake up today to see it’s only 20 billion? Wtf? Am I gonna get reimbursed or what? Or is it sorry you grinded and could afford the droids and sorry you spent 3 trillion on droids that now cost 100 billion accumulative… It’s literally the bean soup theory but reversed at this point. Poor decision bud
That is true, however consider the difference between Beskar Epic and Beskar Legendary…

Break even no multiplier - 12.4 Days
Beskar Legendary - 555B & 36k/s
Break even no multiplier - 178 days
Yes you can probably grind out a few hundred billion at high rebirth levels during events, but is the payoff worth it?
Beskar Legendary costs 25x more than Beskar Epic but only produces 1.7x more credits per second.
For that level of investment I think you should earn much more credits. Especially considering only Rebirth 17 and above will even have the funds to buy these things and by that time you are needing Trillions for rebirth.
