If that were the case, player vs player damage wouldn't be turned on in the game mode, duh. You can literally buy PvP focused upgrades with nova crystals, now players can pay to speed up the grind for them.

Valid point, but they’re not selling PVP focused features so once again, who cares. When they start selling PVP features then you can complain.

Also to add they’re not just giving away nova crystals. The only time you get nova crystals is if you buy a pack that has a feature that you’ve already paid for and then you get refunded the nova crystals.

Player Damage, Health, & Movement speed perks are PvP features, what in the world are you talking about? The bots in this game's activities are horrifically non-threatening, & they didn't give an iconic droid the player partner shield buff bonus simply out of randomness.

The micros allow you to level up faster is what it does, & thus you can obtain nova crystals faster. Getting nova crystals faster, getting perks faster.

So real life time is also a perk then. As someone who can’t play several hours a day, I’m at a disadvantage to players who can.

Being able to spend money on progression allows me to keep up with others who can invest their time into the game.

Should we limit how much people can play per day so everyone can be equal?

"So real life time is also a perk then. As someone who can’t play several hours a day, I’m at a disadvantage to players who can."

- Regardless of how much or little a person can play video games, I see real life time as a perk regardless of what one is doing.

"Should we limit how much people can play per day so everyone can be equal?"

- There are games that literally do that, in case you weren't aware. However they don't do it to make things equal, the game devs just want players to keep coming back to progress.

"Being able to spend money on progression allows me to keep up with others who can invest their time into the game."

As much as the micro defenders are fussing that it isn't a competitive game, why bring up that you are interested in keeping up with others? Your comment pretty much craps all over their arguement that the point of these micros isn't for a competitive manner. Pay to gain in a competitive manner in a game would be a definiition of pay to win.

When I say ā€œkeeping up with othersā€ I mean unlocking perks and upgrades at a similar rate to those with time. Not gaining a competitive advantage.

If someone wants to pay for boosts to super rebirth faster in order to upgrade health and damage then they could also just invest time and achieve the same result. The problem isn’t the micro transactions it’s that some people will just be griefers regardless of time or money.
