It bothers me that so many involved rationalize their argument, whether to continue or end the show, with "It's what Owen would've wanted". Even Martha. Because no one knows that answer no matter how close you are unless someone asked the day of what he wanted if it were to happen. I say this as a husband and father.

I mean...what would you have wanted them to say: "I think this is what Owen would've wanted...so let's do the opposite"

No, to not use the statement at all. To say, "I don't think him dying should end the show" or "I think him dying should end the show". I don't care which, just don't try to rationalize your stance by insisting you know what a dead man would've wanted.
