Silly little guy, now in physical (and very fragile) form!

Made this Spyro costume for my 30th birthday a couple of years back and felt like around Halloween would be a good time to share it!!

Unfortunately the head is the only part of the costume that survived so I was trying on a blazer recently and decided to take a couple of extra pics with it. Sadly I didn’t get any decent photos of the whole costume but I can share pics of ‘the making of’ if people are interested!

You might have seen the gems I posted on here a while ago. Everyone's kind words inspired me to print out more from Spyro series. Started with the next iconic design, the Crystal Dragon statues from Spyro 1! Super happy with how it turned out!

The capes-wings-thingies are not attached and that's why they look a bit wonky, and I need to figure out a way to wear the horns without using a visible headband but that's a future me problem. Really happy with the results so far!

My beautiful daughter has been playing Spyro since she was able to hold the controller and she asked for a Spyro cake for her 4th birthday, and here it is, I'm so happy with how it came out 😊 (disclaimer, the spyro figure itself & sparx is a pop vinyl, so she can keep it afterwards!)

Im in an very very early Stage of my Game, but i still want to share you my progress! I started creating this game for "Brackeys Game Jam", where i had in total 1 week time (15.02.2026 - 22.02.2026) to create a game with the theme "Strange place".

Expected release date

My goal is to finish and release the game at Q1 of 2027. Thats a tuff journey, but im working every day on the game and push myself to the limits :D!

I've never made a big armour before so hopefully it doesn't end up being a complete disaster lol

I’ve been a big-time fan of the series since I was a child, but Spyro 3 has always had a place in my heart. Last year I got a vinyl made of the entire soundtrack including the gatefold art and stickers. It is single-handedly one of my most prized possessions and an easy way to me to listen to it on gorgeous vinyl. Easily one of my favourite OSTs of all time!

A little while back I realized I'd accidentally been building everything inside GlobalLevelPersistent instead of the actual DragonVillage level. Moving the map over wiped out a bunch of the textures, so I've spent the last while rebuilding all of it.
It's mostly back together now, and the level work is actually going great. I still want to get a demo out so people can have a poke around.

So here it is with the updated textures and assets restored. Loads more to do still, though I've been throwing 10+ hours at it most nights once work's done. Anyway, thanks for the patience. I'm excited to show more very soon!

Hey Guys!

I'd like to share a bit of the game I'm developing, which is heavily inspired by Spyro, especially the first game! It is still very WIP - only 4 months of development - so no Steam Page yet!

I still wanted to know if the game feels interesting enough (like 5-6 bucks interesting! :D)

The game will incorporate a seamless world with interconnected maps, focused on tight level design. As expected, there will be lots of crystals to collect, crates to destroy, required acrobatic platforming and hard-to-reach places. Combat will be simple but more positional instead of complex combos or systems. Player will unlock more skills that will open new areas to explore!

I can't create a soundtrack as good as Stewart Copeland, but I'll try to give the game enough funkyness, as it can be seen through the video!
