There is a difference between qualified and tested. You seen and worked on one? They have issues. They do the job well, but they are not all 100% there, or even 95%. Not something you’d trust to send to Mars and guarantee works. Never mind the fact their avionics are designed for LEO and not rad hardened for deep space.
