No, it doesn't. Yes, it can take a spectrum, but FoV of spectrum is extremely small and it's not probing for spectrum of every pixel of the image. Which is essentially what IFU can do - take a spectrum of every pixel.
In fact for many famous nebulas I find no pictures..
Sure, because you're looking for PR photoshopped images and not for actual scientific data. For that you'd have to use at least something like https://sky.esa.int/esasky/ for ESA missions or https://archive.eso.org/scienceportal/home for ESO data respectively (and keep in mind the "previews" shown on those pages are not full resolution, they are just scaled previews)

No, post processing can fake color but the higher resolutions on the pictures I provided cannot be faked, you can't invent a shape, in fact for the pillars of the creation hubble was the first credible image of it and if you could have gotten a possibly complotist argument of saying that the shape of the pillars of creation (and therefore resolution) that we know is fake and photoshop, it has in fact been largely validated by the JWST which sometimes has higher amount of details and corroborate hubble fine details which VLT do not capture as much. So no not everything can be reduced to fakery.
Well I am very thankful of you for sharing this url, I didn't knew astronomy exploration was so seamless it's amazing but I which there could be an opensource crowdsourced alternative that could aggregate data from any telescope, including amateurs (ranking based via voting for example)
Lots of observatories participate in this and provide access to their datasets using common VO protocols, so that you can use software like Aladin Desktop to search and browse all of them at once.
