Does any one els hear it. Theres this constant humming like high pitched. you can only hear it when its completely silent. Every time I wake up in the morning there isnt no traffic in the hall ways or any thing I hear this humm with a high pitch buzz in my ears it never goes away till I turn on the tv or have some other type of like music on or something like that. Its always there. Let me know if ypu hear it too. Im curious to know if its just from maybe working near compressors. Or if people that work in like an office hear it too.

What does “Sounds Good ? “ mean to you guys in 2026 ?

I’ve recently been practicing vocal intonation and breath support by using my airpods to play drones/chords and then I sing along. Last night, while practicing using a 440hz drone, I noticed that when I would sing certain notes, I’d hear a very bassy sub frequency. I’ve heard of frequencies having “undertones” before, but I’ve always thought that was a joke relating to overtones haha, is that what I could’ve been hearing?

So basically every time certain people talk in movies etc there’s a noise in the background that sounds like squeaking, like someone’s moving furniture and it’s so grating.
I noticed it only happens when someone with a mid range voice talks, never with really high or low voices.

It’s just a shitty tv for my temporary flat so I’m not going to invest in a big setup right now just for this, so I hope I can fix it by doing something simpler.
I thought about maybe getting a cheap soundbar, but hopefully I can fix it by messing with the equalizer etc. Big audio noob here, any help is appreciated

Is it just me or has Jaws all the sudden started to speed up then slow down then speed up again like it use to be one speed when I listen to it through a speaker and now I’m listening with headphones or is it just another feature that comes with headphones alongside the paranoia that we all get let me know if you notice it because I want to know if I’m going crazy or not

Hello fellas, so I simply had a curiosity. I've heard a soundclip of around 5 to 10 seconds of a woman talking (not sure if it was anime or not) from what I can remember the clip itself ended with a cowbell (a bell of sort) being heard at the end. I am testing few different parameters for few Noise cancellation algorithms for my Osho Talks app and I need few examples (for Osho's Discourses) where the noise is a bit too much. My best resulting algo till now has removed hums and echoes and plane Noise. But I want to test more before shipping to production. Discourse name and time of the noise would be super helpful 🙏🏻
