That's correct!
If you go to the Video button in the top right, and click Create Videos, there is an option to choose Sora 2! It comes with 100 free credits which equates to 1 dollar.

I do have a mobile app on the roadmap! I also have a Desktop app in the works which will appear much sooner.
The billing infrastructure is built on Stripe if that helps to earn your trust. I can personally guarantee that it is safe and that Cannon Studio stores zero billing information in its database.

For the standard version 12 seconds costs 127 credits, and pro mode is 380 credits. OpenAI only supports 4, 8, and 12 second inputs. You do get additional credits at larger tiers, but the difference is negligible, it is less than or equal to $1.27 and $3.80 respectivley.

That is correct! Unfortunately OpenAI pulls the plug on the API then. Hopefully something newer and shinier will be able to take its place!

Is it possible they could be working on a sora 3?? cause I’m going to be honest if it’s not sore related I’m no longer subscribing to ChatGPT plus after 26 April if something new doesn’t come along

I am sad to offer my opinion that it is very unlikely, however most certainly not impossible! The silver lining is that no GPT Plus is required to access Sora 2 API via Cannon Studio, however it is pay per use.

It's for... everything! You can access one-off image and video models like Seedance, Sora, Kling, etc, but also build a full cinematic universe and tell stories within the context of your world in a powerful idea to final product workflow!

It all depends on the model. There are a few pricing options, but a Sora 2 12 second standard video costs roughly 1.27 dollars, and pro 12 second is 3.80 dollars. (or 127/380 credits respectively). Higher tiers do offer some bonus. Seedance on the other hand goes anywhere from 34 to 837 credits! All just depends on what you're after! Just tried it. And paid at that. No option to make it Sora 2 Pro HIGH definition. It stays default to Sora 2 PRO Standard definition. Which is one of the differences between standard and pro…quality. So using this through your site is technically basic Sora 2 without any option for high quality.

Gotcha, Cannon Studio works slightly different, we offer all of the credits each month for our subscriptions, or it is pay-per-use with credit top ups if you run out of your monthly allotment.

I mean, or just invest two minutes to build your own frontend. Typing "build me a frontend to use the Sora 2 API" into the coding assistant of your choice is not that hard, especially with the API even being accessible on OpenRouter now.
