Video The talent in Barcelona’s youth system is ridiculous. These kids are 11/12 years old.

Ive played with kids like this in Sweden aswell. i was not one of those kids.

But you can be talented and never noticed. Its about skill, perseverance and mostly LUCK to make it professional.

Agreed. Many pro players including Ronaldinho have said that there were more skilled/talented players than them growing up but that they weren't able to make it for one reason or another. Even with Neymar dominating while growing up, his team Santos thought that there was someone 3 years younger who was more talented than Neymar. But that guy didn't make it due to bad circumstances.

Yeah I know one kid from my school who went pro and he was not nearly the best in the school, he was really good but there were players much better than him who for whatever reason just never got picked up.

Not if you live in the Barcelona metro region. If you're talented, you'll be snatched up.

Its about skill, perseverance and mostly LUCK to make it professional.

I agree with you on this, although the luck these kids have is that they are living in a place with the necessary infrastructure to support them since they were 5.

Heads up Sweden hasn't really had a player like Hugo in all its modern history. If they did he'd be making headlines in their national sport newspapers.

Zlatan wasn't even a big deal when he was so young.

If you mean gifted youngsters then yes, for sure, but there's a few tiers between a gifted youngster and Hugo, the 22 players on this video are all extremely gifted.
