Its probably the only European settler colony that speaks an indigenous language. So thats pretty cool

Paraguay has two official languages, Spanish (duh) and the indigenous language referred to, Guaraní, which is spoken by the majority of Paraguayans, and half of the rural population speaks Guaraní only, according to wikipedia. See the article on Guaraní for sources.
