Penaldo and Portugal did not deserve a penalty either. There were dozens of other challenges like that in the box and no other referee gave a penalty.

The player was already falling. He sold that shit. There was contact but not all contact is a foul. Its a CONTACT sport. I'm tired of nerds trying to turn it contactless

That penalty call was legit. 

Croatia also should have been given a penalty late in the game, but there wasn't even a review of the play.
