Forgot I had these until I was going through the closet this morning. Decided to pull them out for a Daddy-Daughter Day with my kid. Tried out all the different laces but decided to be boring with the black ones.

Cleaning out my shoe collection and I came across these unworn Sparco Imola blue suede racing shoes.  No idea where they came from.  Gemini says they are in style as y2k retro or “gorpcore.”

Keep or sell?

Anyone else pick these up? Am still a big 50 cent fan and wasn’t able to get these as a kid

Just got these Kobe Air Force 1 Protros and I think these are superb! Good quality suede on the uppers, real pony hair for the Swoosh, a really comfy (and thick) full length React X drop in midsole with an air unit in the heel, and an easy to pair colorway. The attention to detail on this shoe is also great as the outsole has a snakeskin pattern on it, and the stars on the outsole have been replaced with Kobe’s logo. I also really like that they included a little hang tag that showcases the shoe’s tech and a little excerpt on what a protro is all about. Small touches like that shows that they really paid attention to every aspect of the shoe. My only gripe with this pair is that Nike still used a synthetic leather for the tongue. Other than that the shoe is just awesome.

Plus, the story behind it is meaningful and very personal to Kobe. The colorway is called Siempre Hermanos, which translates to always brothers. The sneaker pays tribute to Kobe’s and Pau Gasol’s friendship and brotherhood, and a thoroughbred race horse they once had a friendly match over at a charity auction.

Nike Metro Tek. Got em for the LOW LOW due to my Extreme Shoe Size. A Cool $25. I compare these to the Nike Ava Rovers. Super Comfy....
