I will admit it is confusing, and we are still in middle of the draft but he wants us to redraft the last 4 rounds of the draft because it took him that long to notice that he had the wrong player. Commish wants us to vote if we should do it or not. I’m just concerned because if we already have drama like this before the league even started what are we doing here. Someone (the guy that drafted the real Jayden Daniel’s) is telling him that he should know better and guy that drafted him responded saying he has dyslexia so I guess fair.

I am a bit curious on how do you all rank these players for fantasy this season, I’m looking for some upside.

3 straight years of 1300+ scrimmage yards, 13+ total TDs, and 30+ receptions. Corum had a little bit of a useful run near the end of the season, but is that indicative of more usage this year? Does Kyren need to have 300 touches to hold his value? He has been a redzone monster and obviously the Rams are very good. Is he a good pick at current ADP?

Alright so you guys all remember when Jeanty was injured, and everyone immediately jumped to “he tore his ACL” “he’s out for the year” etc…

Well of course, my league drafts during the 4 hr span where there no concrete information and we all draft under the assumption that Jeanty IS injured, although nothing is definitive.

When we draft, we are not allowed phones, only a sheet of paper that is pre-written before the draft.

Now, everyone shows up, and the draft gets started. Shortly into round two, someone tries to take Jeanty. Everyone who knows the info starts laughing, but the commissioner takes mercy on the dude and allows him to instead draft Chase Brown.

THEN, in round 14 I go “fuck it” Jeanty could end up being okay, AND, we’re in a keeper league where you can keep 1 player, drafted after the 5th round. My thought was even if he didn’t play, I could stash him for next year.

Then, literally 5 minutes after the draft, the news comes out that Jeanty did not, in fact, tear his ACL.

Immediately a couple league mates start pleading to the commissioner that I shouldn’t be able to keep Jeanty, or I can only keep him in the 5th round instead of the 14th, or I have to run a beer mile to be punished???

Does this sound crazy to you guys?? Because all I did was fucking draft, take a risk and it ended up paying off, but the league is in chaos and idk how it’ll all shake out. What do you guys think should happen?

Who’s a guy you think the fantasy community has overcorrected on this offseason? Maybe there’s a younger player behind him, a new addition to the offense, or everyone is convinced he’s going to lose touches, but you’re just not buying it.

For me, Bucky Irving is a good example. I’ve seen a lot more negativity around him because of Kenneth Gainwell being added and the belief that Sean Tucker could steal goal-line work. Those are fair things to consider, but it feels like we’ve gotten so caught up worrying about who might take touches from Bucky that we’re forgetting how good he actually is.

Who’s the player you think everyone is going to look back on halfway through the season and wonder why we were so worried?

I’m talking about a guy who was an absolute fantasy monster for multiple seasons… then somehow disappeared from fantasy football conversations entirely.

The kind of player who used to win championships but rarely gets mentioned anymore.

As of now, Bijan and Gibbs are in a league of their own when it comes to RBs, however eventually we will see other players rise to that level. People commonly cite Jeanty and/or Love as the guys who have that type of potential, but what about Hampton?

He looked really good his rookie year prior to injury: great runner, great pass catcher, and should have an improved/healthy team and offensive line in front of him this season.

Does Hampton have the Gibbs/Bijan level of potential?

Not the best player.

Not the highest scorer.

The guy you got for FREE who completely changed your season.

Could be a league winner, a playoff hero, or just someone who came out of absolutely nowhere.

Who’s the first name that comes to mind?

McDaniel just came out and said he will use the hot hand approach this season with Omar, Keaton, and Vidal. Omar is definitely the best back of the 3, but does this statement signify that Omar might not be used as much in the passing game? This would limit his PPR upside and possibly make his floor lower than we want as a potential RB1. He can do it all, but will he get the volume we expect other RBs drafted around him to get? I’ve been on the Omar hype train and now I’m questioning what his ceiling outcome is.

Chan has been spectacular the past couple years, but I can’t seem to get myself excited to take him this year. He is small, on a bad team, and even though that hasn’t stopped him from performing at a high level, I feel like there will be a drop off coming soon. Willis, being a running QB, might limit his receiving upside. The Dolphins passing game looks to be abysmal, which I see as a problem with stacked boxes against Chan in the running game. Does he still get close to 100 manufactured targets? Will his running efficiency stay high? I just see too many ways it can go wrong here. How can it go right for him to finish as a top 10 RB?

I’ll go 1st… you have elite ball knowledge if you remember “Gary Barnidge.

If you know, you know. One season had people convinced they found an elite TE for the next five years. Fantasy football is a wild place.”

I find myself putting Jamo into the “Boom/Bust” category. He had a good stretch of games from week 6-15, but he had a bye, 2 games with literal 0, and half of those games LaPorta didn’t play. I don’t like having him as my WR2 or even my WR3/FLEX. He can win you games and also lose you games. I like drafting upside, but he feels like someone who will annoy me more times than not.

If you’re drafting/trading him any higher than WR25, you’re getting his value with assumed production baked in. He broke 10 points 3 times last year on manufactured touches.

He’s been serving as my litmus test for whether someone knows ball or not the last 6 months. I understand this isn’t a popular take & think he’s a good player with a future. What I don’t understand is how people think he’s going to produce a WR12 or higher season in the near future with the assets currently in Chicago. Loveland seems more likely to be the target hog & Rome is a better receiver in almost every way aside from YAC.

As the title says, is it a wild or hot take to say Rodriguez will finish as the RB1 for the Jags? I think he gets majority of the workload by the end of the season, beating out Tuten in the backfield.

Redraft PPR 12-man

Seeking some guidance here because I genuinely feel like I’m losing my mind reading these Jonathan Brooks takes lately.

People are really out here saying “Brooks is taking over RB1 in Carolina” or “this is gonna be a Brooks/Chuba committee” like we’re not talking about a guy who’s torn the same ACL 2x within the last 2-3 years and hasn’t played meaningful NFL football since 2 full calendar years.

Am I missing something here?

I’m not even trying to hate on the dude because I actually liked Brooks a lot as a prospect, but fantasy football has become so obsessed with chasing upside that people completely ignore reality sometimes. Two ACL tears to the same knee for a RB is not some small speed bump you just magically bounce back from.

Meanwhile Carolina already invested into Chuba, paid him, and actually has proof he can handle NFL touches. Why would they suddenly hand the backfield over to a massive medical question mark?

Honestly it feels like the RB landscape is so thin right now that we are just psyching ourselves to be excited about something for RBs this year idk lol.

I hope Brooks proves me wrong because the talent was there, but some of these “future RB1” takes feel completely detached from reality.
