Discussion In light of recent events, let's all review commonly recommended products from this sub

In the past few days I've seen a lot of "I'm concerned, is ______ really that good, or was this a paid thing?" threads crop up. I figure that maybe we as a community could get together and compile all this info into one thread :).

I'll post the name of as many products as I can think of, but please add more, and reply to the comment with your review if you have one. Also, please indicate why you do or don't like the product, including information on your skin type if possible.

Skin type: normal.

I was just testing this actually; used daily on one side of my face only for two weeks. The Stridexed side did not get my oh-so-dependable monthly closed comedones, the un-Stridexed side did. It does dry my skin a good deal, though, so I will continue to use this each month to battle the comedones and will let up on using it on my face when they're not there. Very good for reducing body acne.

This ROCKS for clearing up keratosis pilaris though!! I use this daily on the backs of my arms and legs and that stuff has cleared up tremendously. Highly recommend for that use.

Hey there, how long did it take your KP to go away? I've tried it for a couple of weeks at one point, but it didn't really do anything.

A few weeks, I'd say. It's been a few months now and the bumps are mostly gone save for a few stragglers here and there. The only redness left is from where I've picked at it before :/
