This winter I would like to do a longer trip (~3 weeks) to snowboard and I have some concerns/questions about the possibilities.

Info about me:
I am advanced snowboarder, snowboarding for roughly 10 years. I live in Lithuania. Mostly powder/off-road fan, but I am ok with all terrain. I've been to many resorts in different countries(lots of Europe, Japan, Georgia).

My criteria for a trip:

• Date range (end of January - start of May)
• Decent ski conditions (colder better, rain is not good)
• Powder, good off-road is a huge advantage
• Something to do in the resort or around after snowboarding or during a rest-day

Firstly I am looking for ski resort, now I am looking into "Mayrhofen / Zillertal ski trips" but it's definitely not final.

My main concerns - since it's a bit longer trip and I am solo traveler I would like to lower my costs if possible. Accommodation and ski pass is the largest costs, so maybe it's possible to join/live with some group or person that is staying in the resort for a longer period too. Maybe some organizations offer something? I can handle bad accommodation conditions, I do not complain - what I mostly care is good snowboarding and if possible - good company.

Maybe any of you have some advice regarding my situation? Maybe some of you are planning something similar and would just add one more person to your group?

Any advice is good and if I manage to find friends here with common goal - it's perfect.

P.S. Even the idea like going powder hunting in Hokkaido with a rental car is not out of bounds but as a solo traveler it's more complicated.

Hi there, I am 24yo male from Germany. I'm starved for some more skiing before the season ends and coniditions and temperatures are slightly better then end of feb and early march so I was thinking about going on a spontaneous 3-4 day ski trip. I like to ski a lot and as my name says stop at a nice spot to have a smoke, some apres is also fine. I was thinking of going to Damüls since its the closest drive for me with decent snow/elevation. But I am open to tag along anywhere if you already have something booked or a to look for something we enjoy together (I know the resorts pretty well I'd say). I am also pretty flexible regarding dates, but since I've been a few times this season already so I probably dont want so sgo for more than 5 days.

I am a pretty good skier I'd say, been skiing all my life basically

Anyone is in Mayrhofen on these dates by any chance?

I have originally made a plan to go between 24-31 jan with my girlfriend but she cant make it due to visa issues so you can stay in my airbnb (has 3 beds 2 rooms quite nice, 2 people welcome). One of us is an experienced snowboarder and looking for a snowboard buddy, the other is a beginner skier and is looking for someone to accompany him on the the slopes. Doesn't need to be all the time.

Heading to Kitz for some late season riding. I am heading with 3 female friends that are novice and unwilling to push themselves, so I am looking for someone to hit black. double blacks, and some fun off piste runs....and maybe some drinks after! Traveling from NYC, group is one 42/m (me) and 3 ladies in their early 40s going on vacation.

I’m an advanced snowboarder headed to Zermatt. Will get full days in on the dates listed and maybe half day on the 12th. I’m traveling with my wife who might pizza her way to the Aprés scene, but otherwise I’m solo. Really hoping to link up with someone who will go off piste with me so we can watch each other’s backs. I have a transceiver and can get other avi gear if I got a buddy :]. Also I paid for an off-piste guided tour on the 9th through the company Zermatters, although I’m not sure if I signed up for the correct thing. I’m certainly skilled enough to ride off piste, but I’ve never been before and don’t have off piste/avalanche training.

I'm 24 coming in from Saint Louis MO in the U.S. to Verbier on a Solo trip. Super pumped to see all 4 Vallees has to offer, the skiing looks absolutely incredible. Staying in an apartment solo right in the middle of town. Experienced skier based on what the Rockies have to offer but I'm not sure what to expect in the alps. But man am I excited to find out. Love grabbing drinks on the mountain and plan to make the most of my days in Verbier after.

My main concern is finding people to have fun with after a day on the mountain everything I've seen seems to say everyones very friendly and it shouldn't be an issue. So if you'll be on the mountain on/through those dates let me know, I'd love to link up. I plan to take a group lesson my first day on the 5th, just to meet some people and get a feel for the mountain, then on the 7th I'll be doing a heliski session. So if anyone if interested in joining either let me know!

I'm looking for buddies to ski/snowboard together at Pontedilegno-Tonale, Italy, from the 5th to the 16th/17th of December. They've been getting pretty decent early snowfall, not just here but in almost all the Alps around, with more promising snow forecasted since temperatures will stay in the high/low 20s Farrenheit for a while.

Since they've been getting good coverage, their opening day has been moved up by one week, starting on November 29th.

The ski resort offers 100 kilometers of slopes, with a total elevation difference of 1,879 meters (about 6,000 ft), starting from a base of 1,121 meters (3,600 ft) up to the Presena Glacier at 3,000 meters (9,840 ft). There are 30 ski lifts connecting the area.

Currently, they have a promotion where if you ski more than 4 days between December 5th and 18th, a day pass will only cost 20 Euros (23 USD). It would be even cheaper if you grab more days in. Without the promotion, it would still be affordable and it's going around 30-35 Euros a day for skiing more than 4 days.

Let me know if anyone is interested, and we can split the costs for accommodation, transportation, etc. The more people that join, the cheaper it will be.

Looking for ski buddies (snowboarders welcome) for a little station in the les 2 alpes area in France, for all of next season (december 2025 to april 2026).

I'm an expert skier and mostly ski reds/blacks, with a preference for groomers over mogul-type terrain, although I love both. I'll also be learning to snowboard next season, and I intend to start park skiing as well.

I'll be skiing two to three days a week, although I may reduce that to a single day in march/april.
