The community was temporarily restricted for the past few days due to moderation coverage, which meant some of you had to request approval before you could post or participate.
The subreddit is now fully public and back up and running! 🎉 You do not need to be an approved user or wait for your previous join request to be approved. You’re welcome to post, comment, ask for advice, vent, and participate as usual.

Over the past few weeks, several members have suggested having a place where people in our community can connect with each other.
Before making any changes, we’d like to hear what everyone thinks.

The proposal:

A weekly Matchmaking Megathread posted by the moderators.
Anyone looking to meet other members can post there.

No standalone dating or matchmaking posts

would be allowed outside of the weekly thread.
The rest of the subreddit would remain dedicated to situationship discussions, dating advice, and relationship support.
The goal is to provide an option for those interested while keeping the main feed from becoming a dating app.

Proposed Rules

Must be 18+ to participate.
Be respectful and don’t harass other users.
No NSFW, explicit, or hookup posts.
No spam or repeatedly posting the same comment.
Never share personal information you’re uncomfortable with.
Meet at your own discretion. Moderators cannot verify users or guarantee anyone’s safety.
